I used to have massive issues finding the right saddle for me, tried so many brands and eventually ended up having 3 surgeries on my "undercarriage" over the years. Then I found Fabric saddles. Have them on all my bikes now. Amazing product! Thanks Fabric!

Very cool vid, specially for someone that's in the process of start a company or something quite similar to Fabric.
Now that I'm thinking, this material could be very illustrative for youngsters to encourage them into starting their own business and be as successful and trustworthy as Fabric.

I'm using a fabric line saddle for a year now and i would say its impressive. I'm not having a sore ass during and after long rides. Thank you fabric for innovating new products that is really effective, functional and sleek looking. Keep it up. Cheers!!!

Been testing saddles for the past 4/5 months and have looked at, but not ridden fabric. Will definitely be looking into them in greater detail now (not only because they're local).
Having gone from prototyping a product, 3D printing it to tooling, I can attest to the final bit (setting up for tooling and manufacture) is one of the hardest and most overlooked parts for people interested in getting an idea to market.

Bought a fabric flat race saddle, my cambium and san marco concour are now redundant, I still can't believe how comfortable the fabric is. might buy a fabric shallow for my cross.

I have a Charge scoop saddle on my Fixie and loved it. I didn’t get on with the pro logo that came with my Orbea so wanted to get another charge scoop but they don’t seem to make those anymore I started looking at the GCN show videos on saddles and saw this video for fabric and I was like that looks familiar and when I saw Simon riding through the two tunnels route to visit the HQ I realised they’re local that got my interest. I do want to try some of their other saddles as well but at the moment I have a fabric scoop for my or Orbea and it’s much more comfortable and looks really nice 😊🌶🌶👍
A cool insight into a little brand who I haven't heard that much about. I would be hugely interested if one day you had a look at some more traditional tech such as Carradice or Brooks Saddles as even though there not super new they do last a super long time and they are chaning and innovating even in traditional fields
John Rogers Last year was the 100 year anniversary of British-made Brooks. Too bad GCN chose to not observe that.

I have the Fabric Shallow Scoop on my bike. Love that colour schemes match my bike and they are not expensive yet as comfortable as saddles I own more than double the price.

Thank you, Si, that was super cool and I suddenly need to become a customer. And I dig your enthusiasm for BMX cruisers and those bikes need to come out and play. Or at least give us a look-see. And the saddles with the translucent tops reminded me, at first glance, of glittery banana seats. And that'd be cool, modern banana seats from Fabric.

I discovered Fabric Line saddles last year and now they are on both my road bikes. I only wish they made a more rugged/hard waring version for my mtb. Great video. 😉
Hi Stuart, have you tried one of our saddles on your MTB? Because of the vacuum bonding process, our saddles are not stitched under the base like many saddles so should be more durable with all the mud. Thanks.
Thanks for the reply. I have considered them. Ideally I was looking for something with a channel like the Line and also some harder waring material around the corners to hold up against scuffs and scratches. Any recommendations?
Hi Stuart, It doesn't have a channel but the Cell is incredibly good for a mountain bike. It's super comfy, very easy to keep clean and the cover is extremely durable.

Hi Si. Just a quick question regarding bikes you ride abroad. I noticed that the bike you rode in the Taiwan kom challenge was not your regular bike. How do you set up your bike (measurement wise)to replicate your own bike and avoid injuries and the like.
Fabric makes some great stuff, I love the cageless bottles and would like to buy more from them. Availability isn't great in Belgium though :(
I have these saddle's on all my bike's,best out there,have ridden 100 miles on one no problem's.Even have one on my moulton.

I have a Fabric saddle on my Cannondale Scalpel 29er mtb and Fabric lights. They are great. Nice to see the video.
I got suckered in by their marketing to buy the ALM Shallow Ultimate LTD and also by the fact I was looking for a brown saddle. I have to say after riding it for a couple of months it was a bad purchase. It's not the saddle I thought it would be as far as comfort goes and it was expensive. I ended up falling back on the Fizik Kurve Bull. It's not brown but it's more comfortable.

I have a Fabric TT saddle on my TT bike but I haven’t put one on my road bike yet, I still like my Fizik Arione, and want a similarly flat saddle to that one. We’ll see if I decide to make the change.
Also, I see you riding through the Two Tunnels Si. The long one is just way too creepy for me

Have tried Fabric saddles and love the look and feel but can't quite agree with them just yet. I've realised I'd need a Scoop Flat model in 143mm with pressure relief which isn't made.

I see Charge Ladle and Charge Spoon saddles there, too. While the initially comfortable Spoon becomes a seat bone grinder within half an hour on it, the Ladle is very comfortable. My ex swears by it.

I do admire these guys and the huge risk.undertaken in what us already a spoilt for choice parts marketplace. They could be at risk.If trying to.do too many products. I'd stick to saddles or lights just the one and do it extremely well
