You have become my new favorite battle report channel. Other channels started with high quality painted minis then dropped off considerably, while you guys steadily improved. Other channels have obnoxious personalities that are loud and irritating, while you come off like your passionate and just having fun. Keep it up guys!

I like how in the beginning when they are listing the army’s, the first army has metal music and is very serious, and then when beaver talks about his army, it’s just like he’s recording his own video X

As a Necron player it pains me that theres no Nobel in the lychguard. I thought it was an overlooked rule but seeing this made me recheck their ability. Ill always take a noble within this squad!!

Yep, pretty much completely negates the disadvantage of overcharging plasma and the FTs were able to delete a Necron unit a turn.
@@cjanquart Oath of Moment has nothing to do with overcharging plasma, you roll hazardous tests on them and take 3MW on 1's with no reroll.
Oath of Broken is an awful rule. It makes the game slower, has no counterplay and is horribly boring. This coming from a Dark Angels player. Its defenders will tell you it isnt OP because it only affects one unit per turn. Thats true, but that unit invariably dies and if it is the only unit you have in a certain role (EG anti-tank) the marines player can then exploit this mismatch for the rest of the game. Its is a lazy, unbalanced excuse of a rule and I despise it! :)
@@Sicariusification Im guessing his point was that you will always overcharge because their damage is almost guaranteed so it doesnt really matter if they die.

I think I play after a handful of games like this guy. No clue what I'm doing, relying on the honesty of my opponent to explain it to me. We gotta start somewhere I suppose.

Rules question! When Beaver used heroic intervention and charged in with his Lychguard, charge gives fights first right? And in 10th, you alternate between units with fights first, beginning with your opponent, right? So, shouldn’t the Lychguard have fought first in that combat?

No, Heroic intervention does not give “bonuses for charging”, and the main bonus that is applied from charging: Is the fights first buff.

What is the thought behind Plasma weapons on the Inceptors? Assault bolters backed by Oath of Moment beat plasma exterminators at every toughness. 3 shots vs 2 and sustained hits 2 put Assault bolters on top regardless of target toughness. Compared to how deadly hazerdous is on infantry those exterminators should have had 3 shots and 4 when supercharged.
Does the Chaos Helbrute compare to the Space Marine Dreadaughts?

I don’t know about TTT but beavers minis are his and pretty dam good
Some are painted by themselves or Sige studio but it seems to be mostly their frankly amazing in house painter Fletcher, pretty sure he did the Flesh Tearers for Spider.
Smoke gives both stealth and benefit of cover so that dread had a 5+ save. AOC would have made it a 4+, but in this case statstically a re-roll should have saved one of the wounds.

Gabriel seth is Really strong this edition. always run him with my blood angels. Idk why he was left out of flesh tearers. Theres blood angel groups showing how hes better than dante very often. Pending who you pair him with he gets crazy high attacks. Exploding hits. 3 damage. Wound buffs on top of that. He has advance and charge.

27:18 With chess when you move your unit (piece) and let go, you can't move it again. When it's set, it is set.
I hate it when players don't do that. If you want to move it to some place else, you've to wait for the next turn.

I think that in the Necron round 2, the Assault Intercessors wouldn't get the Oath of moment as the lord becomes a separate unit when the bodyguard got destroyed. I might be wrong
You’re right, they would lose Oath but only in the next phase, as the fight phase sequence attacks were all simultaneous.

It appears when the Lich Guard died they missed the lich guard's special ability of reducing incoming damage by 1?
Thie caught me out too so I checked. The ability only triggers if the unit is led by a noble (a technomancer is not). Also, ability is - 1 to wound roll and not dmg.

Nope, RP happens as the very last thing, so after all abilities and battleshock
@@tabletoptactics Something is very confusing to me: I know RP says that it triggers at the end of your command phase but the ruling on the command phase states: Your command phase is split into two steps. In the first, both players gain 1 CP and you resolve any other Command phase rules. (here is where I thought RP would trigger, an effect that happens in the command phase). Most objectives also read: at the end of each command phase, which I interpreted to mean that I get to choose if I want to RP or score first. If anyone can shed some light I would be very grateful for the help.
It's covered in the Rules Commentary document. Anything that happens "at the end of the Command Phase" explictly happens after Battle-shock. The Command *Step* is different to the Command *Phase* 🙂 You're right about chosing the scoring or RP first though, but again, both happen after Battle-shock- otherwise Battle-shock would be pretty pointless as you'd do Scoring before it 😅

I love necrons, you guys sometimes edit things did you guys do -1 to wound on the lychguard brick its what makes them tough to deal with
I also noticed that there were a lot of times that rule got ignored.
That only applies when there's a Noble in the unit. There was only a Technomancer in there
The list was very fluffy and did not use basic unit synergy. It shows in stark contrast that Necrons are not at all a killy army and teching into that will not work.
Oath of the moment is the worst rule of the entire game
