- Carl Radke says he thought he and Lindsay Hubbard had some serious issues they needed to address before getting married, but Lindsay didn’t believe that. He also says he doesn’t regret how his break up with Lindsay went down and it was the best decision for them not to move forward with the wedding. Plus, Carl says he’s blocked by Lindsay Hubbard on social media and he is three years sober.

Carl has grown so much since season one, it's beautiful to see. Glad he is doing well, esp during all this scrutiny which cannot be easy.

Something I remembered, all the way back in season 1, Lindsey had an argument with a cast member who is no longer the show, Cristina Gibson, and Cristina put her on spot about how selfish Lindsay was being, and Lindsay just dismissed her. I can't say after all these years, that she has changed much, she really has not. Meanwhile, Cristina is in a long term relationship and has a kid, Carle is sober, other than getting some fame, Lindsay really has not grown.
Lindsay wants her Ariana moment so bad. But this season I think Carl will be very vindicated

As a newly sober person, he should have never been in a relationship to begin with. Every single drug and alcohol counselor will tell you this. The brain is changing, the struggle is still happening, the addict needs lots of time to work on themselves without distraction or added stress. That was his first mistake. I hope he can move on and continue to work on himself going forward.

Carl is such a gentle giant. He needs a good woman who will not take his kindness for weakness .
Carl does not want to work. He deflects when the topic of work . He has not made a single move in any direction in his career when Summer House was on this season. Lindsey has every right to ask him when is he going to start working? How long can he think about his career. If I were Kyle I never would have asked him to come back to Loverboy. He will not be happy there again. I always took his side but now I am on Lindsey side with asking about him getting a job.

If Carl is in another relationship he needs to stop running to mommy with his relationship. He ran to her all the time. He needs to keep a job. He needs to be with a sober partner. He proposed to a woman he knew for years. He knew she triggers when she drinks. He knew she wanted children. He knew she wanted him to work.
Lindsay will never change and she'll end up sad and alone.
Carl was one "I DO" away from then becoming a divorced, broke, broken man. He will now prosper and find the correct partner.

The Carl moment that stands out for me is him finding out his brother died while Carl filming Summer House. I would think most people would IMMEDIATELY rush home to be with their family. However, Carl's reaction seemed to be to stay in front of the cameras for as long as possible before leaving. IMO he is a maniipulator...he knew exactly who Lindsay was. Maybe he proposed to her because he had no storyline (and no job) and was desperate for attention?

Smoking weed while criticizing other people for their consumption of whatever is just hypocritical. If you offer compassion then now should habe been the moment for that. Thats your best friend of how many years? He does paint that best friend like the villain without owning up to it really...platitudes...just words... its all a bit suss.

We see through Carls manipulative ways… neither one of them are innocent. He is guilty of picking fights with Lindsay and lying about being “okay” with Lindsay drinking. Cause he wasn’t and he shouldn’t have led her to believe he was okay with her partying at the house. He also wouldn’t give her reassurance when he knows that’s what she needs.
Did "we" watch the same show? "We" do not see Carl being manipulative AT ALL. If you align yourself with Lindsay , you must have similar toxic traits she has. "Reassurance"? She's a black hole and energy sucker that feeds off of the people around her and is jealous and insecure. She gaslit Carl, fabricated a ridiculous story in her mind to support her own disgusting behavior and is a mean and nasty drunk who NEVER took accountability for this disgusting behavior. He put up with a lot of drunken, irrational and entirely unnecessary angry fights with that nasty woman.

I hate to say this because I was the biggest Carl fan, but Carl looks so different now than he did at the beginning of the show, way more than just aging. Was it the antibiotics and/or antidepressants? I have a friend whose looks also totally changed after being on antidepressants. Dangerous drugs - stay away.
