I love it. 💕
Thank you))
Super💯
Thank you 🙂
Beautiful! Going to make a ton of these to decorate a venue for my friend. Peonies are my friend's favorite flower. I was wondering how much crepe is required for each flower. And what is the diameter of the large flower in your picture?
Hi) Thank you😘 I spent almost 3 rolls each 2.5m long (I tried to make it as economical as possible, but large flowers require a lot of paper) I can’t tell you the diameter, because I sent these flowers to my favorite subscriber and I don’t have exactly the same flowers ((
I remember that the diameter was no less than 40-50 cm.
Try to make one and you will understand what size you like)
Best tutorial of paper flowers I’ve ever seen!!! Great detailed instructions! Turned out gorgeous! May I ask, what type of crepe paper did you use? Don’t know if that’s been answered or put anywhere? I haven’t looked yet...
many blessings! I’m subscribing for sure! Thank you 🙏!
Thank you for watching😘 it was Italian crepe paper 140g. This paper is quite thick and holds its shape well. Good luck)
Bellissima
I loved it.. But how can i put it and fix it on branch with leaves
I hope you can reply soon
Hello, sorry for not answering for so long😥
I would stick it with hot glue, but it all depends on the place and position of the flower on the branch, maybe provide a wire loop in the bottom of the flower - then it won’t go anywhere))
Your tutorial is so well explained, thank you so much. It looks like I bought the same crepe paper as I can see the lines in it. My petals are not as curve as yours, what is it that i am not doing wright? I stretched as much as I could before it tears. Perhaps I didn't glue them together properly!!
Hello, dear!
Crepe paper is very variable, the quality of the paper can vary depending on the manufacturer, the weight of the paper and the quality of the "squeeze". One day I found paper in pastel shades that I was missing and bought literally as much as I could carry. What was my disappointment when I opened it and stretched a piece for the test - it doesn’t stretch at all, it doesn’t hold its shape😭😭😭
Try to find Italian paper with a density of 140gr/m2 (or even 180) and try to compare, I think that's the problem. Good luck!
@@LanasCrafts thank you so much for your message, I'll pay attention to that detail. Good to know!
You are welcome) I hope you find good paper😘
Very beautiful! How many rolls of paper did it take for one large flower and a smaller red one?
Hi) Thank you😘 I spent almost 3 rolls each 2.5m long (I tried to make it as economical as possible, but large flowers require a lot of paper) I can't say how many rolls I spent on red, but at least half as much)
Brava
Glad you like))
These look absolutely amazing! ❤ Where do you purchase crepe? I've not been able to find it anywhere!
Thank you very much) I'm glad you liked it)
I first saw this paper in a stationery store. After I learned how to work with crepe paper, I started looking for it everywhere and one day I found a huge selection in a packaging store. There was a lot of packaging film, kraft paper, crepe paper and everything you need to wrap flowers and gifts. Try to find something similar nearby)
Hi! Thanks for sharing with us! Can you tell me how many rolls of paper you use for this peony!
Hi) Thank you😘 I spent almost 3 rolls each 2.5m long (I tried to make it as economical as possible, but large flowers require a lot of paper)
@@LanasCrafts I've seen în other tutorials that they use 5!I know that for a giant flower we need a lot of crepe paper! Thanks for the answer!
I tried not to spend more than one and a half))) when the third roll ended, I realized that this was my dream, not reality😂🤣😂
I love the tutorial thank you so much for sharing.I am a milliner in UK.My client wants a fascinator like this shape. What sort of crepe paper should I use and how can I secure on the head?
Thanks a lot! I'm glad the video was useful)
I use Italian crepe paper with a density of 90 and 140 g.
I think you can attach it to any hair clip using hot glue (it always helps me out))))
Czas w filmie to 1 minuta 3 sekundy.
Powodzenia)
I have a question: if I buy rolls that are 20" wide x 8 ft long, I'd need 3 rolls?
That's right) Should be enough))
Okey, but how hang it on the wall? 🧐😁
well, it’s trivial to glue a loop of twine into the base and onto a hook on the wall)) or, if it’s an exhibition wall, glue it with hot glue, I made a stand without a wall, pulled the twine chaotically diagonally and up and down and attached it to the twine with hot glue - options so many) it all depends on your needs and capabilities))
Good luck!
How many rolls of Italian crepe paper(can buy online) for 1 flower.??? Thanks so much.
Hi) I spent almost 3 rolls each 2.5m long for big one (I tried to make it as economical as possible, but large flowers require a lot of paper)
This is so beautiful! I appreciate you listing the measurements. I wonder if I can use a paper plate or a paper bowl for the backing. Which would you recommend? What is the brand of paper you used, and the name of the ivory color and coral color?
Thanks a lot! Glad you liked it)
I'm not sure if a paper bowl would work, as long as it's fairly thick, but I haven't seen one, the ones made for baking pies are pretty thin. Maybe a plastic bowl would be suitable, it is light and durable)
Paper manufacturer: Cartotecnica Rossi, Italy.
Now for the color: Ivory color - 17A1, 180gr (144gr/m2), but it is a little yellowish, I prefer color number 603
But I don’t remember the coral color number, I only had a couple of rolls, but they ran out😔
I looked on the site, it looks like number 601)
I hope this was useful) good luck))
@@LanasCrafts so kind of you to reply and so quickly, Lana! Thank you so much for all the helpful and important details! What is the size of the finished peony? I can’t wait to attempt making this when my paper arrives! I ordered your recommendations!
Oh, I don't remember the exact size, it was a gift to my best subscriber and I mailed these flowers the very next day I finished. But the flower was quite large, more than 30 centimeters in diameter, maybe even 35-40))
Keep me posted on how your craft is progressing and ask any questions)
@@LanasCrafts so sweet of you to make and send this to a subscriber! My paper finally arrived, yay! In re-watching your video it looks like you stretched two layers of crepe paper at a time. Is that true? If you did, did you separate the two layers or kept them together? So when you glue two petals together, does that mean you glued two layers of one shape and two layers of another shape? I hope my question makes sense!
Hello again)
I'm glad you got the paper
perfectly valid questions! Thank you for asking
That's right, I stretch the two petals, but then I separate them so that each petal is glued separately. Why do I stretch the petals in pairs? So they stretch better, keep their shape better. Try to stretch one petal, and then two together - you will understand the difference.
Good luck)
Hello, can you tell me the measurements of the flower that is still on the side? please I would appreciate it
Hello, I have a problem. The customer ordered the same large flowers, but did not want them to be made of paper. what can replace them?
material, silk, organza?
Foam
Does anyone has an idea how to place it on the wall? 😮
