Union Pacific Stack Train Meets UP Big Boy 4014 in Las Vegas

Big Boy 4014 was on display in Las Vegas for a few hours on October 7, 2019 while on its 1st excursion since being brought back into service. While checking out the sight of this beast, an stack train came passing through!

Excuse me but what is the name of the street you were in seeing the big boy because I am visiting Vegas with my mom so often and finally I did found a Railfanning spot in Vegas just now it’s right at the tacos el gordo and saw 2 UP trains go by but I’m also trying to find more Railfanning spots in Vegas so can you tell me the names of the places in Vegas for a Railfan spot?

Unfortunately here in Vegas, there aren’t very many locations to do rail-fanning within the city, but your best bet is along this main line! You want to catch a train at a crossing, your best bet is the LOWER Desert Inn Rd by Trump tower at the intersection of Sammy Davis Jr Drive & Desert Inn (I say lower because there’s 2 Desert Inn Rds right there, and the bridge is the higher one, and you’ll want the lower one).
Further north from that crossing near the Arts District is also Wyoming Ave, which has PED gates on it if you’re looking to catch a variety of signals in action, and that one is nearest to where my angle here is, though I was in an empty lot off Charleston Blvd.
In Henderson though, on the branch line running to a couple of industrial plants, there’s plenty of crossings you can film at, but train activity is far more scarce on that line compared to the main, so I’d stick along the main line for sure.
