Talking about the currency, did you know that during the Asian Financial Crisis in July 1997, when Indonean currency plunged to uncontrollable depths, the then helpless Finance Minister of Indonesea consulted India's Subramanium Swamy who had advised him to print an image of Lord Ganesha on the Indonesian currency notes, an advice that the FM followed and almost immediately the Rupiah began recovering, stabilizing and normalized which is why you can see Lord Ganesha's image on some of the Indonesian Notes i. e. 20000 Rupiah Notes (can Google) . Not only that, even the Indonesian Govt says that thier religion is Islam but thier culture is Hindu. Actually they had been converted by the Arab merchants in past who used to conduct trade with them.
