I too am a Deora fan!! I think you nailed it. I really like this one much better…💪🏼 Note: see what it would look like with a transparent yellow windshield . Idk might be cool, then again might not..😂
Mission accomplished. That's cool now! Just finished my '71 Plymouth GTX for your 2024 Custom Diecast Invitational build off. I'm sure you'll have a big turnout for that. 🍁☕👍
Keith, great video. Before I had a channel, I did some experimenting with Deora IIIs because they have the potential to be great. I hate the lack of a windshield and seemingly no engine. I thought maybe they’re EVs and the entire base was batteries. I did some styrene and Milliputt work to turn one into a yacht-looking six-wheeler that I didn’t finish, another into a Cybertruck, and a few more. So I stocked up on the casting. But the big thing is a windshield, and I got a vacuum-plastic press. Now I feel motivated to make windshield templates and get back to that casting. I have dozens of them, after all. I look forward to researching those paints. “Ready to paint” are the three words my paint booth loves.
That turned out great Keith! I absolutely hate the stock Deora 3 casting and you've made it into something that looks SO much better. Now if only Hot Wheels would make these kinds of improvements.
Thanks for some inspiration on where to start with this casting. I agree with all of your talking points on this one. I love the idea of the Deora, but not this particular casting. It has some potential, but it's too busy with the inserts. I like your mid-engine design, which is what a Deora should have. I have a Deora III, but it's always one of those that gets passed over when reaching for a project car. I'll probably wait on this one until I find some type of clear plastic that I can install as a windshield (I guess I'm an old-school kinda guy). I love the paint, which looks like a cross between magenta & purple to me. Great build.
You accomplished whatever you were looking for on this. I don't like that cast either, but this is super cool. Do agree with other comment, needs a windshield. That engine though? Chef's kiss buddy 🤌
I like the way you did it. I understand the surfboards obviously but am not a fan of the bike. I also would prefer to have an actual driver like on the packaging. Just personal preference. Great job my friend.
The Deora 3 🤔 ....... my momma said if i can't say anything nice .... well you know. Fantastic job at talking a turd bucket and making it bad ass. I used to like that kind of challenge .... helping a troubled casting and all but now i just get pissed off. You're a better man than I. 🍻🤣
That engine is way to small. ther's so much open space... maybe you can put a submarine nuclear power reactor in that. I mean there is no to much energy...
Fantastic build Keith it turned out amazing brother
Great looking build, love the paint, details and wheels
Nice results. it looks way better. It should have looked like this from the factory IMHO, have a great weekend👊 Cheers 🍻 KC 🇦🇺🤝🇺🇲👍☺️
Looks like it could be a modern day show rod. Loving that color as well.
Outstanding job!! Love the new look much better stance is just right and the color fits the build thanks for the ride!!

Thanks! Can’t wait to see the GTX!

Very cool 😎.
Great paint , full watch

Nicely done Keith keep doing what you want to do and sharing 👍 take care
excellent! you made the casting look great!
Love it! Kinda miss the surfboards but the tires and rims look perfect and your paint is damn fine
That turned out cool. I think it looks great in that color.
Wow that came out really cool I like it way better than before.
Nice build, details and paint job 👌 👍
This car came out great. I’m not a fan of the Deora 3 but you made it look great 👍🏽😎
Very cool!!!!!! 🤜🤛
Cool to hear that Tropical Glitz is that easy to use. Time to pull the trigger on a couple colors. Keep up the awesome work and glad to see you back.
👍 Thx 🇧🇪.
Great job on the build, but you forgot the surf boards. 🏄♂️
No windshield. That would help the look of the vehicle.😢
That turned out nice!!
i agree im a fan of the 1st 2. not of this one but if they had made like this i probably would have grabbed 1. turned out awesome
Some guys fill in the cranked cut out on the right side too.. I'm a Deora fan and #3 has some problems, but it's still family.
Shows what polishing a turd will do. Cool color, and I like the mid engine!
Very nice, you don't need to cut up a casting to improve it. Sometimes just a couple of tweaks and so.enew paint will do the trick. 👍

I think it needs a windshield...

Yeah not a fan of the surf boards & bike in the back either. Looks much better with the mid engine V8! Nice colour too. 🔧
Casting needs a windshield
I like the way you did it.

Great job my friend.
I like your version way better.
That would even look cool if it had a front windshield imo, but the engine itself looked cool anyways. Really nice build there
Nice

I had no idea they made a third one, yeah this car looks crap not youre one but just the design
I’m sorry, there’s nothing you can do to make the Deora 3 cool…😂
You’re a good sport. 👍
Went from being electric to a v8
lol impossible
