- Ron Perlman is not pleased to be seen receiving wheelchair assistance upon his arrival at LAX. The Sons of Anarchy star's frustration becomes evident when he spots our videographer and exclaims, "Hey dude, don't you understand English? You speak English? Shut the f****** thing off!" Despite Perlman's demands, the videographer stands firm, knowing they are well within their legal rights to continue filming. This prompts Perlman to rise from his wheelchair and confront the camera face-to-face, launching into an expletive-laden tirade before attempting to snatch the videographer's phone. Perlman continues his verbal onslaught after catching the attention of an airport employee who attempts to diffuse the situation.

Just let the photogs get their 2 minutes of video and move on with your life. Imagine this is the hardest part of your day. And the photog is right. LAX is a public space so you can film and take pictures there.

First amendment entitles one to free speech and freedom of expression in the press. It doesn't entitle you to follow someone going about their day, having done nothing wrong, with a camera in the hope that you can get some juicy footage of them getting angry.
The sad conclusion I come to from watching this is the cameraman has nothing better to do than invade the private space of someone who's been on TV or in a movie. Even better for his channel if the footage shows them getting upset or angry about it. Really really sad on a number of levels.

Tony Vera is an LAX legend. He has every right to record in public. He's been doing it legally for nearly 24 years. I get why some dont want to be on camera, but threatening someone over a constitutioanlly protected activity is communist behavior. If this were in say, North Korea or Russia, then the aggressive push back would make more sense .
