Man, so excited to listen to this whole interview. Instantly thought, I have never enjoyed, cared about and cried through any character story arch more than I did with Ryan in Sons of Anarchy. Je'sus Christ
First it's odd to me that fans of this podcast would hate on any guest. Didn't think that was this communitie's vibes. Second, how do people not know who this is. Jax's best friend and left side, strong side.
This was an interesting conversation. I love good spirituality and philosophy chat. I'm not really a "spiritual" person, but I find it fascinating. I feel like Ryan Hurst has many more great stories. Please invite him back.
I don't really comment often. But I just have to say....I have no idea who this person is, and like 1 minute into the conversation I already love this person.
I loved watching Pete’s non-dual beliefs tested with mention of someone like Russell Brand. You could tell immediately that he became more reserved and subtle desire to separate himself from someone who wasn’t even in the room. I’m not saying I wouldn’t probably do the same thing, but it’s nice to not just see the finished product but to also see ideas being limited tested.
Funny enough he voices Thor in the newest God of War video game! He’s amazing in it and was a perfect Thor! If you are a gamer and have PlayStation then you should check out God of War 2018 and God of War Ragnarok. Two of the best games I’ve ever played and I’ve been a gamer for 30+ years. If not then I would suggest watching a UA-cam video of all his scenes in the game because then you can see him as Thor. Anyways sorry such a long comment but when I seen yours I thought I’d let you know.
@@dannydropshot9588 that is what I was referencing. ^_^ But it probably did need to be more directly pointed out. And yeah awesome game, he did an amazing job.
@@mechaulfr9600 oh okay lol. I thought you might have been referencing him but just in case I figured I’d let you know. I wish he had more screen time in that game. He was fantastic.
I always bristle when someone brings up an abusive teacher in a positive light. How could a 40 minute diatribe followed by a “you suck!” be anything but detrimental to the majority of students? If you like that sort of “teaching”, more power to you. I hope the anxiety disorder you developed isn’t too debilitating. It was a bit of a throwaway comment, but Ryan kind of implied that if you don’t respond well to the abusive tactics, you must not want it enough. Which is a sad rationalization. If they would have continued down that subject of conversation, maybe there would have been more nuance, but I wish we would let go of this idea that you need to be screamed at to get better at something. Sure, reality isn’t kind a lot of the time, and it’s important to teach kids that, but this can’t be the best way. Anyway, I liked this episode and Ryan overall, as always. I just get fired up about this specific thing. Haha
I was thinking the same thing....that was a rough start, but I appreciate Pete letting him take his time...because you can tell he is a fan of Pete, even if it isn't the podcast he is a fan of, he was very interested to have a conversation because he realizes they are so much alike. I liked this whole convo. Slow burn lol
Love finding new podcasts with actors ive loved watching. SOA. The outsiders, bates motel, walking dead. Lets go!
Remember the Titans
@@anthonycampos8057Always mind fucks me when I remember he was in Remember The Titans. He looks so different without the beard.

Peter, you have such a welcoming soul. Thank you for all you do, Katie. You’re the best team. So much love and openness.
Ryan legend❤

is it just me or is Ryan giving off Jeff Bridges vibes?
His interpretation of Thor is easily the best to ever be adapted. Chris is fun and all but Ryan’s is accurate to the myth and way more interesting

Sons of Anarchy, Remember the Titans
i was not expecting this. ryan was an amazing thor in god of war 4
These are by far my favorite episodes. I was on board from the get go
Andy you made this so not weird. Thanks for bringing Christianity into the 21st century along your life and releasing into the world with your music ❤

Ryan hurst is fuxking great! And pete holmes.... very underrated!!! His outtakes make me loose my shit and abillty to breathe haha
Loose shits? Try lowering your fiber.
So this is a crossover I had no idea I needed!
great episode
synchronicity is awesome. I get it all the time.
these two should do a side show where they interview spiritual teachers
Great idea!!!!
Hooooly shit. Ryan is one of my faves. First caught him on Sons of Anarchy, and instantly said "... he would make a GREAT Thor."

"I know we're rolling already" was a win off the top

WOOOOTTTTT!!! He is a killer of a dude!
Eyyyyy!!! Lobo!!!
Ryan has the most beautiful man nails I have ever seen.
Forget the nails.. check out the size of those shoes 😂
Trying to have an interview (podcast) and not have a fanboy moment.
Nothing lasts, but nothing is lost

Opie! Half Moon!
Is that like a bag of mushrooms beside them.
He loves to drop Rob Bell's name lol.
When Opie was killed 😢
When they got his wife by accident that's what got me
@@LALakerfan622 Oh man…yes
the footage of the cast saying good bye , some real homie stuff
Did Pete Holmes Act In SOA?
Yes!!! 3 hours!!!(。•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧❤
Can Pete grow a beard?!
Kundalini? Might not wanna put that on a resume, like using Cosby as an employment reference
It’s a verifiable cult with major abuses, especially second generation children born into it!
*I MADE IT*
Hyperventilating isn't energy, but whatever makes YOU happy.
Opie... nah...
This fella sayin a whole lot of nothing for 5 mins
Yeah the start is brutal
I get what you're saying, but I found it relatable. I think most people would struggle to know where to start. Sometimes you need a minute.
Yeah it got much better
It doesn't get better.

No thank you
Hollyweird.
A standup comic and the guy from remember the titans talking about the meaning of life and psychedelia? Thats “hollyweird” to you?
