I reckon you’ll have space to put one spare in between the chassis and the tray on a slide out rack. Then put the canopy right up against the head board with another spare behind it recessed into the tray. Means you’ll only have two spares on the vehicle when you plan to go long range with it.

thats probably what I'm looking at doing but I don't want to put a hole in the tray haft way down because when i have it off its annoying

Yeah fair enough, you could even make a plate with some latches that covers that hole whenever you’ve got the canopy off. Use it as a little bit of storage while you’ve only got the one spare.

I think you should have both tyres on show at the back you should carry 2 one because you have 6 tyres to get a flat and two because it’ll look so good

Hey mate love the build! A canopy right up against the head board would be good and even make it slightly lower for the roof top tent, put a spare off the back of the canopy if you need , even recess it into the tray. Any chance you can make a video on your bonnet entry snorkel for an 80? I saw you’ll be doing some videos on them but I’d love to see more on a short entry without getting rid of the factory airbox just modifying it
    Thanks

Yeah it's a hard one because I can't put a spear upright without being too high and I don't want to reset on the back of the canopy because I do want to remove my canopy sometimes, it's a bonnet entry I did have to remove the factory bonnet hinges and a result of this though there's a couple of photos on Instagram of them to check out but if not I can probably make a video on them

Flip mate that’s a real dilemma as to where to put those monster tires. I’d be inclined to go with one under the deck personally so as to have more usable deck space. Also bro how often do those big tires actually puncture??
I’m also guessing you don’t need an 80series to do a snorkel jig on🤪🤪

Yeah that’s the plan unless it doesn’t go to plan, I’ve all ways liked the look of two tyres on the head board but it just doesn’t work then they are that big in comparison to the cab unfortunately
