It’s an insult from Uber to drivers to even allow this.
Personally I would never take a 2 or even a 3 dollar delivery. That's not even worth gas money here in Florida.
Nothing under 9 unless it’s across the street!
youll sit around for days waiting
@@jjm3762 😂
Don't ever get that low people, have some respect for yourself.
He's probably being paid by Uber Eats to say that... There's another guy on here who used to give out all the great tips and suggestions and then all the sudden he started going "corporate speak" on everyone and eventually, it was found out that Doordash was paying him to do those videos. (Bentley Koup | DoorDash Diaries)
People/new drivers are getting desperate, not a wise choice.
I never accept a 2-3-4 dollar order for minimum 20-30 min completion
I will never take a $2 or$3 order no matter how close it is. I feel that if the customer doesn't respect my time and tip the drivers then I'm not picking up their orders. For my area I'm okay with a $1 or more per mile.
That's exactly what I look for...$1 or more per mile...no more than 5 miles.
I had a dollar order for 3. Something miles away, got tipped 10 dollars made it 13…
@@CarlosGarcia-vb8ln lol delivers forget so easily while trying to come off analytically superior to so many people that people have the option to tip them after they receive their food and that if they can’t afford to not be tipped upfront for every order they do that they need to find more ways to earn income
I won’t even move for under 6.50
That is never acceptable
I literally get a warm sense of satisfaction as I smash the reject button on any order under $5. Can't help but wonder who raised these "entitled" jerks. If you can't afford the service, don't use it.
Exactly
Who raised these jerks? Answer: Uncle Sam
Been noticing a big increase in low value orders. It used to be almost unheard of to get
respect yourself ur gas and your time never take any offer under 5.00
$2 deliveries is down right disrespectful
Yeh especially since we are doing all the work and paying for gas, all meanwhile working in excessive heat and dogding covid.... cmon uber.
Slay job
Even here in NYC where deliveries never take more than 10 minutes do I ever see where it would be worth it. Unless it's the final delivery for a quest.
I'll shut the truck off and wait before accepting something like that. Also i only run ubereats weekend nights because that's when people are drinking and order the most food
Yea you really have to pick and choose with this app to make it worthwhile
Basically if you take a 2 dollar offer. You are paying for a car to drive it in and the gas to get there as a big favor The reality is they are putting out bids to see who will do it for the least money. Then if no one will take it, then they raise the offer. Its not worth your time to take 2 dollar jobs.
6600 UE deliveries here.
Generally my rule is 6.50 with 2/mile. If it's slow I'll go as low as 5.
And almost every non tipper is a postmates customer
The only explanation I could think of as to why people take the $2 offers is if they're on a bike or a scooter
I can't imagine a reason why someone driving a car would accept these ridiculous offers.
I was thinking the same thing. I think some of these bike people like getting paid to ride at any amount.
I would not accept any order that low - no tip, no trip - I average $20 an hour gross on DD and would love to get more UE gigs but they are not big in my area. I think many of the $2 and $3 orders just sit for hours and then get tossed by the restaurant, or get picked up by some of the non-english speaking drivers and delivered after sitting for several hours which in itself is not good for the majority of drivers since it proves they CAN be delivered for next to nothing, but also concerns me that food is kept at unacceptable temperatures for long periods of time and could be a health hazard.
I do this stuff on a motorcycle and I'd NEVER take anything under 10 bucks on mamas
My car doesn't move unless the minimum is $9
I dont take any order from any gig ap unless I'm getting paid $1.50 a mile, and anything under 15 miles, 23 dollars minimum. And I have to be able to complete it within an hour if it's under 15 a mile.
I’ll reject 10 offers in a row for 2 or 3 dollars and smile each time until I get a proper order worth my time and money from a customer who appreciates our service
My friend made made me take one for $2 while I was on the phone with him for 1 mike I looked at it and accepted it at the last minute, the guy gave me a $13 tip, but I don’t really take them
Wouldn't touch that s**t with a ten foot pole. Thanks to you and other youtubers, I'm sitting on $38/hr this week. Week 3. Working in Australia. 😁👍🏻🥂🙏🏼🇦🇺 Week 1 $33/hr. Week 2 $32/hr. Milk those promotions and don't accept crap jobs. Cancel if excessive wait time. My acceptance rate is still 80%+. 100% satisfaction rate. So far, so good.
Except for the constant rain! Damn tropics. 😭🤣🙃
This was right on the money with predictions, Uber Eats already bringing app changes where it threatens drivers who reject too many offers, I would pay them $2 not to send me this garbage. People are just idiots for accepting.
When I see a UE offer, it always says "tip included", even when the customer never put one in. That seems pretty damned deceptive to me.
Yup I completed a 10 dollar offer and when the trip was done I only got 3 dollars. Uber eats is a scam.
@@justswitched8841 your tips come in an hour after your delivery. Did you ever get your tip after?
Glad to have you back!
The only time those are acceptable is if you're multiapping the drop-off is next door and you're already at the restaurant.
I drive in the northern Va area and unfortunately get lots of low offers.. I won’t take anything under $ 6 or $ 7 dollars, we ALL need to stop taking these ridiculous $ 2 to 5 dollar offers!! No tip No trip!!
It’s should be 5.00 min for anything or more
I’ll take the order and eat it
So I just dont take 2 or 3 dollar orders. I tried it at first when i first signed up with UE but quickly decided never again after a few no tip orders. I was very happy to see them add the tips in.
a $1.50 order pop in my phone do we look like a joke 🤷🏽♂️
Wow
Almost all the Uber eats orders are $2.00-$5.00 I see them all the time. I don’t do eats just rides. But every now and then I see the trips requests for eats orders for like $2 😂 im like wth never never. Who takes that? Maybe if im 1 or 2 rides from a bonus that’s about it!
Never !!!
The only time I do a 2 dollar delivery is when it’s the end of the day and nothing is coming and I’ll do that last stretch before going home or it’s link to a another delivery going to the same customer that’s like 5 or 6 bucks
I wonder if there's nobody accepting that order, will the paying price go higher since no one accepting it?
Yeah
12 in a row in New haven connecticut for 2 dollars nope
Thanks for the knowledge. Actually, for the years I worked for Postmates and Uber. I never saw Postmates low offers like now. This is the first year I am encountering plenty of them. Wow.
That survey is too dang long.
Ah sorry
$2 a mile in the city. $1.50 in the suburbs. 33 cents a minute and up. Nothing under $6 during lunch, $7 at dinner and $5 at off times.
Only if you are on a bicycle with milk crates, then $2 offers are profitable.
Not even
@@willstaxx0730 $2 dollar orders would be good in the 90s tho
🤣🤣🤣
The only reason I would take a $2 order would be if it was the end of the day and that order brought me closer to my house so I could write off more mileage. My threshold is $7 unless I had a large payout before hand.
Same
I won't even turn my steering wheel for $2. To Hell with these customers who want, need and desire the service but refuse to pay for it!!!
My idea would be only offer those low dollar orders in the real extreme urban area like Tempe Downtown Scottsdale downtown Las Vegas strip only where there's a Main Street and if they're low that low I would just require a tip but I would only allow those small orders where it's really busy, where you can grab like two or three orders and you wouldn't have to worry about it being $2, where people are just really hustling and it's happy hour or lunch hour, The Main Street type of setting thanks for listening
I was gonna say yeah, you'd have to grab at least like 3 of those
The problem is everyone is saying they will never take these low offers but then who's taking them 🤔 I mean it must be some drivers are picking them up or uber or doordash will never disrespect the drivers like this
Yup exactly
Newbies, foreigners, desperate people, dumb people, employees of the month. Those people do.
@@arnoldnickatina1147 employees of the month 😅
I think sometimes nobody picks them up they just sit there & DD cancels the order
The only reason I take any offer I get as long as it’s not a batch order with too long of a estimated time completion because I’m a walker and the job is something I do to spare time before I have to go work my “actual” job and on days that I’m not working or just have free time
Turn off auto accept. New order offer pops up right when you’re about to finish an order. So you accidentally accept the order. Uber gold points benefits require high acceptance rate.
Anyone who takes a 2 dollar order is an idiot. You're basically working for free. As a matter of fact you're losing money.
How much customer tips? My 2cents?
How many of those cash tips are drop offs where someone asked you to bring the groceries into the house...?
Good job 👏
I don’t take any thing under 6 sorry but I’m in Memphis
Occasionally i accept 2$ dollars orders but l tell the customer to meet me
I got scammed on two 2 dollar offers my first time the customer said I delivered to wrong address right after I left and took a picture … never again F those two dollar orders.
Anything under $6 I usually don’t do UberEats or DoorDash
That means no tip there used to be respect for the pizza guy, this next generation feels entitled.
@Texas_Raised_ Texas _Made it comes and goes, it's like fishing. The ocean is a big place. In my market, the offers comes after the next especially during peak times. When you multi app, its nonstop to the point of being annoying.
@Texas_Raised_ Texas _Made are you in a slow market? In busy markets, $5-7 is low for me, when I get $8-12 all day delivering McDonald's
@Texas_Raised_ Texas _Made wow! I can't believe it its that bad there as I'm planning to move there myself the end of the year. The reason I'm not there yet is because San Diego market is quite good. It has been crazy busy up until last few months. How much does the order range there? $4 is way too low, I don't take anything less than $7, and that's low for my market. My orders range from $8-11 for short distance (1-3 miles).
@Texas_Raised_ Texas _Made I hear ya, but orders less than $7 are bad...why did you make the earlier comment about having to wait for low pay orders, I'm confused. My market pays great but I'm just tired of the city and looking to go to Texas
We need to stand strong against low ballers and reject every low order to force Uber to bump the value...or the customer cancels it... win-win
...if you can't afford to tip decently...you can't afford to eat out

When is the uber new update coming?
I have seen so many stupid drivers who have no idea about calculations taking $2 order and doing delivery with an old gaz guzzler SUV. I bet he makes -$ at the end of the day. Even if you've reached to the last resort of your life, you can't accept a $2 delivery. 🤣
nobody is picking those up. most are all declined as soon as one gets declined they add 25 cents to it until someone picks it up. UE sucks now more than ever i filled out your survey how do register for the give away ?
If someone keeps declining low pay orders wouldn't your account eventually get closed?
You can have a 1% acceptance rate if you want they aren’t allowed to deactivate you for this
@@GignationThanks for the reply but, is that information in the app?
@@jt6565 u can reject all u want it don’t affect u
In atl, that's all im beginning to see. Reject a 2 and get what, a 5? That's not any better. And promotions/ surge is like a distant memory here. It shouldn't even be legal to pay ppl that low. I gotta find something new
I just called UE and asked them if I needed to update my APP because something is seriously wrong with these $2, $3, orders and that these are slave wages! Yes, I said that and I asked them if they had any idea how much gasoline is right now. They don't seem to care so maybe they need to go down like Postmates did. It is pathetic I am angry $16/hr and made $153 in 9.25 hours. This is over a 3 day period as I gave up and went home the other days as it's costing me more in gas to work.
Yea they need to be adjusting the base rates
They have no sympathy for drivers. All they care about is making profit while throwing us pennies to do the job.
@@chrisharuthai6045 slay job
its only gotten worse.
I reading this and I see I don't take that. I don't take that unless al the end of a quest all the way down this comment section. Someone is taking them. I posted something like this on one of the FB pages and a guy said he takes everything. Was talking about hidden serges and priority. I would like to know more about hidden serges if anyone can fill me in on this or about priority. Are the 3$ runs worth the priority or the gas it takes to run these low ball offers
After few good i take a low ball offer... but never more than a couple a day... i like to keep moving...also sometimes it takes me closer to an area i wanted to go to ... its a crap shoot for me.. my hourly is decent... will be looking for a car that gets better mpg... i do drive a lot of miles to make 200-300 bucks
I do them because i need to eat and thats all they fuckin give me
The typical orders I take are $32 for 17 miles (can be done in 55 minutes). And it amazes me that people take $2 orders
Nice love the $30 orders
everyone always has the answer for someone else, last time i even got offered an order over $25 the restaurant was closed
Doordash was showing alot of those $2 offers i was very upset like really never seen that smh that's so not cool 🤬
I try not to take those orders either. Occasionally I might pick up a short $3 or $4 order if it's on my way. Sometimes people tip more afterwards, particularly on UberEats
Where did we come from? Why are we here? Where do we go when we die? Who takes those $2 no tip orders on Uber Eats and DoorDash? 🤷🏻♂️🤔
i would never nope.
My response to 2.00 is stay hungry my friend. Uber is literally down to 1 order like every three hours. Its garbage at this point. I have 76 bucks for five days. Multi apping with dd is the only reason I have stayed floating. The market is so slow right now. Satx
Which market are you in? UE is slow during the week but during the weeekend its much better. Multi app is key to success
