Hello everyone! Welcome back to my channel and to another grocery vlog. This week I i thought I would try shopping at Morrisons to see what the prices were like and if I would shop there again. whilst overall I think it is more expensive to shop here than somewhere like Aldi or Lidl, I did like it and thought I got quite a bit for my money. I hope you enjoy the video 💕

The brunch bars are actually really nice 😋 and all my kids liked the coco pops cereal bars so that was a winner! Thank you for watching 💓
Hi,great haul! Do you think you could do some videos of you preparing some of the meals?
Yes, I can absolutely do that. Keep an eye out for some coming up in the near future 🙂 xx

Great haul! What a good price for all of that.
Thank you x
I wouldn’t mind seeing a video on what you make in your bread machine xXx
I was thinking about doing some breadmaking videos xx

Awesome haul ..cheap stuff .
Well if you want to buy a punnet of strawberries in Australia..just a small ne $10 each
Yikes! That is a lot! I like watching Australian grocery hauls but I'm always shocked at the prices! X
We used Morrisons all the time 6-7 years ago as it was on the walk home from my work place. I used to also get the odd online delivery too. Their meat and fish selection was the best for a supermarket hence why I often went in there. Reductions were also good and at this time of year the BBQ meat packs were great. I went in recently and was shocked at how expensive they’d gone. The more card when it first came out was great we got £75 worth of vouchers within 6 months and that was with a £30-40 a week spend maybe less some weeks. Now it’s rubbish. But looking at your haul some of the prices especially on the savers aren’t too bad, same as Tesco.
I used to use them all the time as well years ago, but the prices went up. The More card changed and you're right, it was rubbish, but theyvhav literally just changed it back to how it was before, where you earn points and then get £5 voucher when you reach 5000 points I think, plus money off vouchers. I think they've realised people prefer money off coupons over anything else! Xx
Your children sound perfectly normal. The food fight is a fight that you won’t win. Sometimes the wisest option is to follow the road with the least resistance. And no, it’s not lazy parenting, it’s clever parenting. Supplement with multivitamin whatever they don’t eat. Keep on offering options, in time they will develop more refined palates.
Kids won’t starve themselves unless they have a serious problem. They know what they need and of you provide a good variety of food they will eat something. The more you push the more they will rebel. Just act like it’s no big deal. Kids know when parents panic
@@nancyfarkas3592 Yes, food and mealtimes are a great weapon and they know it stresses parents out. Mealtimes just end up being a battleground which is no good for anyone. It’s easier said than done but sometimes it’s maybe best to just play it down x
Thank you ❤️
Hi Claire, would your kids eat something if they helped you to make their own teas ,just a thought for you ❤
I could give it a try, it hasn't worked so far whenever they've gotten involved, they've just made me want to put my head in the oven 🤣🤣 BUT who knows, if I try and get them involved a bit more they might try some more stuff 🤷♀️ xx
My child now 13 is fussy I have tried everything even asking her to help me! I made homemade steak pie the other day! Me and husband loved it! My little girl was not impressed at all! Her face said it all! I’m a trained chef so couldn’t have been that bad lol she is getting slightly better! Xxx
Hi, I’m not particularly a fan of Morrisons , funnily enough I used to shop there all the time a few years ago when I had a huge Morrisons near me. Plus I’m quite repetitive in what I buy ( only buy for me so I have got a little boring) and I’ve found Morrisons aren’t the best for the things I buy. I’m not keen on their fruit ( I find it quite tasteless ) or cooked meats. They don’t stock the pop I like or the chicken dishes I make! Though I do like the fish counter, I find a really good range of fish there and I love all fish ( I should eat more than I do ) Price wise I find the same as Asda or Tesco. Great haul as usual. I have been physically shopping this week ( with my mum) for the first time in months as recovering from surgery and I really enjoyed it, hadn’t realised how much I enjoyed shopping. I went to Aldi probably my favourite and found it interesting seeing the things I’ve seen in UA-cam hauls and did buy some different things but I was shocked at the price increases, obviously I knew they’d gone up but having not been for a few months, it was even more noticeable. The steak flavoured ridge crisps are a new favourite and salt and pepper fries ( not the most healthy I know! but lovely) 😋😋 xx
Thank you 😊
Ooh I've not tried the salt and pepper fries...I'll have to get some next time I'm in Aldi. I wonder if my children would like them?! 🤷♀️ glad you enjoyed the food shopping. I always like going to the store myself, I find online shopping a bit stressful, I'm not sure why 🤣 xx
@@Clairey_Marie Who knows 🤣 I would say no the children won’t like them but then I was really surprised to see Zach eating garlic sausage 🤢 and I think you have said they all like pepperoni, quite strong flavours so you never know! All you can do is persevere but I think you have a hell of a lot of patience because it would drive me mad! Aldi have also just brought out some rosemary and sea salt ziggy fries in a twisty shape which I wasn’t sure about but they are actually really nice. I’m not a fan of online shopping, I actually like going shopping and I like choosing my own stuff, particularly meat and fruits, plus I don’t always know exactly what I want ( I get sucked in by deals and new arrivals ! ) plus the substitutions of items that I see on other people’s hauls puts me off. One lady had 13 I think substituted items which would annoy me! xx
I don't know how families afford today's prices I really don't. You work hard to make sure your family is well fed.
Rubbish plenty out there to live on a budget😊
Thank you. It is Getting more expensive but it's OK, just have to make compromises and budget/plan well x
@@CarolandDave excuse me?
@@angelenaboden I apologise profusely that did come over as very rude. I was in a one re my neighbour. She moans about shopping etc but does not budget effectively. Always has her nails and hair done, wine in her fridge and has been away all weekend in a hotel with her daughter to Harry Styles. I am sorry genuinely. It just boils my proverbial when most of us work hard to maintain a decent standard of living and in her late 30s she has never worked a day in her life
How many chain store supermarkets are there in the UK?😂. Sounds like a whole lot. We have a population of about 60 million, and not that many chains!
Asda
Tesco
Lidl
Aldi
Morrisons
Waitrose
Ocado (online only)
Co-Op although this is more of a “corner shop” type of thing but some areas have slightly bigger stores
Think that’s it 🤔
Sainsbury’s & spar
@@Chelseax223 😂😂😂 I was in Sainsbury’s yesterday! Baby brain that is
Iceland
Thanks guys! Saved me racking my brain🤣
I did a Asda shop last night for something different...... never again I had 2bags and it came to 69 pounds so back to Aldi it is xx❤
Wow! That's expensive for two bags! Xx
It is supposed to be mummy clean not claims
I think you got quite a bit for what you paid I recommended your channel to another UA-camrs Channel she's mommy claims Charlotte has a son who's just picky like Lily so I told her to watch your channel to see how you try to get Lily to eat
Oh yes I watch her channel and enjoy it. I also take comfort in the fact that it's not just my Lily that is so fussy. Thanks for recommending my channel to her ❤️
@@Clairey_Marie you are so very welcome
