28p 1 pack of spaghetti 500g. Went yesterday bought 10 packs for £2.80.
Very enjoyable video. Lidl actually do a fruit and veg box for £1.50 from produce about to go past it's best date but still usable. Products can be frozen or cooked, souped etc Problem is they're positioned beyond the checkout so tend to be an afterthought. If not purchased by midday they get donated to charity which is cool. Food waste sucks.
Really? Didn't even know that. Will be on the lookout the next time I shop there. Thanks Kerry, and I am glad you enjoyed the video. Mission accomplished.
The cereals are cheaper there than in Nigeria, eg, the 75p oats is sold for almost 2k here in Nigeria.
I can’t wait for going Lidl, this gets me in the mood
Things are pretty less costly over there than Nigeria prices especially for non-indigenous's like broccoli etc. Even chocolate bars sef is less costly. I enjoyed watching this video while salivating!!! :) ....Before I forget, very nice nails!
That's interesting. My only issue here is the groceries have a short shelf life but I guess that is to keep food fresh.
Here in tanzania prices are 3x expensive
Thank you for your video:) I will be heading to London February 14th from Sydney. Great tips for eating cheap.
Thanks so much! Love and London will be a great resource for you if you want more tips to enjoy London.
Am learning so fast from u guys i don’t think anyone can cheat me when i come to d Uk
Thank you for the video. It’s amazing how much the prices have changed 🤕
I hope things go back to a semblance of “normal”
This is so very detailed.
Thank you. I should probably post another Lidl Grocery video as a follow-up. Let me know if you'd like that 😎
I'm in the USA and shop Lidl here, too.
What's the prices like in the US?
@@HannahEdiaA About double.
Very nice 👍 keep doing more of this kind of videos well explained
Thanks Curtis 👍
I must say in Poland prices around this same in Lidl.
Let me tell you this is CHEAP AF in comparison to Canada.
Really?? Wow
⭐⭐
Is it just this store? Or are British supermarkets in general this cheap?
I had to check for the sushi, never would find sushi that cheap in a Canadian supermarket. Here the cheapest I seen was around £3 / $5 Canadian. And if you get lucky, usually it’s double that
Not to forget, our price labels don’t include the taxes like they do in the UK. So it’s very misleading and more costly 😬
Lidl and Aldi are generally cheap but there are some stores that are a bit pricey. Also depends on the location, for example, I find that groceries are more expensive in high end areas like London.
Right now due to inflation we spent $219 dollars and 85 cents
Wow 😮
Plz do more videos
Will do! Thanks for watching.
What's the name of this supermarket that you shopped at?
Lidl. I also have an updated Lidl video dropping today. You may want to check it out.,
Lidl - read the description you buiscuit
@@alexcompton5631 🤣🤣🤣
What are the names of the shops you can buy in bulk in the UK?
Costco is a great option
Not really a thing, company cards can come in helpful. METRO in France is a good option but you will need to cross the channel.... only worth it if you need a big shipment. I hope your a business iwnder
Nigerians don’t take recycling seriously and it makes me really uncomfortable and sad.
Stuff here seems pretty cheap. Do they also classify their produces under organic and GMO? I know it’s done that way in the US and Canada, with organic produce being more expensive which isn’t great because not everyone can afford to eat healthy (organic).
Hi
I dont think its expensive for quality products.
You're right. I plan on shopping at other supermarkets like Aldi though, so I can compare prices and share my findings here. Thanks for watching Oluwatosin.
Things are cheap
Not as much as they used to be
