Oh bloody hell dinner time in my house is a chore at times Too. My son is autistic and bless his heart he eats things one crumb at a time then my cats jump up at the table thinking it’s their food so my son starts getting upset and it’s just utter chaos 😂 I can’t remember the last time I got to sit down and eat in peace 😂 xx

Oh that is a shame. I like seeing the dinners for everyone, even the nuggets and chips and the plain ones. So many parents are in the same position and it makes us feel more normal and ok. Don’t worry about what other’s think or say. You’re doing a great job.

So many of us have fussy kids; it’s ok. We all have different likes and tastes, I wouldn’t want to be forced to eat something I didn’t like or had an aversion to either. I do encourage my kids to try everything but I generally know what they will absolutely not want to even try let alone eat and it’s really not worth everyone’s stress (especially the person who has to do all the shopping and cooking). They’ll try and enjoy a wider range of foods over time 😊 I’m glad you’re transparent about this, so many parents are in the same boat. Love your videos and grocery hauls.

My niece did not like rice too when she was a child and she did learn to eat rice when i make gyros with creamsauce and i mixed the rice in the gyros with sauce and she would eat alot off it

I'm so glad u pointed out about fussy eaters. My boy has such a restricted diet I worry about him, he has just turned 13 and doesn't eat any fruit or veg apart from Fries, margarita pizza, occasionally beans and hash brown bites. He won't eat pasta/rice/noodles. He only drinks milk or sometimes water, he'll eat some cereals and occasionally pancakes or a biscuit spread sandwich! 😳

My 7 year old granddaughter watched me put mustard on my sandwich and told me she wouldn’t eat it….I then pointed out that she did on her McDonalds burgers, She looked horrified and said OH no I don’t !😂😂😂😂she’s only fussy when she knows 😊

Ok it's confession time... So here's what I ate yesterday... Ahem ahem... Breakfast: 2 weetabix with whole milk & a glass of orange juice. Lunch: Butternut squash, coconut & chilli soup, a thin seeded bagel & 30g full fat soft cheese. Treat: Cadbury santa cake bar. Fruit: 12 grapes & blueberries Mandarins in juice. Evening meal: 2 chicken sausages, baby potatoes in their skins, carrots, Brussels sprouts, shallots, garlic & gravy. Keyboard warriors get ready: I had a WHOLE ENTIRE 70G of Cadbury chocolate coins oh & then 3 chocolate digestive biscuits before bed!! Some of you can go ahead, call me a fat, greedy so & so. I DON'T CARE LOL. I enjoyed every single chocolate coin & savoured the delicious, molten chocolate lava in my mouth :) I am a chocoholic! 😅 Ps... I also joined a 12 week weightloss programme Thursday, so just proving a point that life ain't easy, we are only human even when we are trying & wanting what's best for ourselves & loved ones!

My days if you get judgy comments about what you feed your kids for dinner they would have an absolute field day with what I feed mine every night! My kids have a hot lunch at school so every night (unless they ask otherwise) they get a cold dinner, sandwich, crisps, cheese, cucumber, fruit, yogurt etc. Them having a hot meal at school instead of at home saves me money each week. Don’t stop posting just because other people don’t like it Clair ❤

It’s so easy for others to judge but it says more about them than you! You have a beautiful family and are an amazing mum and it’s your family and you need to do it your way and that’s perfect!! I speak from a fussy middle child. Who I might say is getting better…. My son is so much like lily doesn’t touch sauce never has nor won’t touch meat unless it’s chicken. Is he healthy? Yes! Does he get a full belly yes!! That’s all that matters. Here’s to us mummies doing our best every day 💕🥂
