Haha, thanks for explaining his unusual battle outfit! I think you found a useful application for the new paints, although I’m still not sure they are really filling a gap in the existing pallet. Thanks for sharing Naomi!
Got my Vallejo bottles in today, thanks so much and thank you for the cute six sided die. 🎲 Definitely going to roll that one in games! Hope I can come visit you guys one day and support your store! Until then I'm happy to watch you paint and have fun with miniatures. Thanks again for the bottles. 😊
I wonder if GW are going pull their finger out and update their paint app. Some paints they released a little while ago, like tesseract glow, are still missing.
I love your videos. Such a claming video to listen to while working. Thank you! Also a great view of how Agros Dunes can be used by newbs like me for easy blond hair! Any suggestions for brown and red hair? Templar black and Apothecary White work just fine for black and white, but I would love a good brown and red. At least while I am learning about light and highlighting, so I can get models done.
But the real question is: Is this a decent replacement for the good ol Goblin Green Naomi?? You should know!! Really eager to get it, so please let me know!
Their base colours are pretty good high pigmented paints. Although I must confess (looking at them advertised on an online shop) I couldn't help but think the same thing - why? I soon dismissed that thought as you can never have enough paints.
They look good to me; but, as fan of the white base layer... i don't really see a "need" for those base paints when you can get the same effect with other techniques always that you use a white base coat. But it's always nice to see it y yourself
As for their officially intended main uses: I haven't done so yet, but I'll definitely use Orruk Flesh for all the Kruleboyz to differentiate them from their less grim looking cousins. This does include hobgrots as I want all my greenskins to have green skin. I'll probably give all of them (orruks, hobgrots, grots) yellowish bellies & chests of Hobgrot Hide, though.
The colour palette GW have is heavy on the browns, there are parts of the range that are poorly accounted for and a pain to mix when you need large quantities with good uniformity.
@Ha Ha i undercoated my orcs with Wraithbone to get a pretty light green effect. But for further orc projects i would possibly switch to Mechanicus Standard Grey or Chaos Black with a little Addition of Corax White. I would personally recommend Mechanicus Standard Grey cause it is a very neutral undercoat and allows to build up lighter colours pretty easy. I hope this helps
I picked them up but I agree with your points. Was there a problem with the Ghurish realmscape boards? Because I didn't get mine and neither did any of the shoppes near me.
Yeah...it's kind of silly that they added these paints except for maybe painters who don't like contrast but found these three colors appealing? If they're base paints for these colors that kind of defeats the purpose of the contrast system.
I love Naomi humming :)

9:47 Thank you for getting the Star Wars theme stuck in my head all day, now. :D

02:45 humming Sesame Street 🤓. Nice tutorial!
I’m going to paint the pants blue now

Just get Paint Rack. It's always updated, and it has a login so you don't need to re-input everything when you get a new phone.
I really like them so far, can definitely see myself using them for a lot of projects

The orc flesh is fantastic. Really good green tone.
Warhammer TV said that thondia brown is good for leather, slightly different from rhinox hide. The other two are for the swamp ork skins out today.
I came for the paint and stayed for the songs. Such a range!
"Come paint with me!" is back!!!
Good video. Thanks for sharing!

They are great for making your nurglings look different to other nurglings. Perhaps.

If you want to paint EXACTLY the same as the box art, you can go and buy some citadel paints that match, that's all
@@Pembolog Would that I could reach those heights but yes.
yep, I have hundreds of many kinds
Was wondering if the paint pots were going to have fluffy tails after seeing your video title.

Αny thoughts on the new synthetic brushes gw launched??/produced?

Your voice is extremely calming, I just clicked on this to listen while building 🙂 learned a few things as well, keep it up!
It's the voice alright, gets me every time.
Bought them today
will test them next week on some of my orcs and goblins
Small update: tested the Orruk flesh colour reminds me of a very thin Base colour but runs very smooth on the Ork skin

But i strongly recommend using 2 to 3 thin coats, regardless if your undercoat, to build up the colour
@Ha Ha sure no Problem. Hope you enjoy painting Orruks
If you were going to do this again, what brush would you use?
I picked them up but I agree with your points. Was there a problem with the Ghurish realmscape boards? Because I didn't get mine and neither did any of the shoppes near me.
Yes, that does seem to be an issue, I didn't get mine either :/
north america gets them in like august, everywhere else gets them now, it's silly, to put it kindly.
the swamp ork skin is basically just iyanden yellow + ork flesh.
Wait was that the sesame street theme song?!
There just new colours for the range always good to have more colours I think your over thinking it.
Very nicely done! Thank- you for doing this,!,... and, as usual,.. you're beautiful as ever! 😉😏😊
Your nails are beautiful
Disagree with the purpose of Orruk Flesh.
Base paint.
Wash with Ork Flesh and Contrast Medium.
Highlight ogryn camo
Highlight yellow
Thank you , Lady Naomi .

🤔 I thought it was the Addams family
