Cristian, how have you been? How is the hamstring recovery and your training going?
Lots of ups and downs with everything, but actually filming again this week so I should have a new video soon, and hopefully some kind of routine again in the near future.😃
The only feedback I'd give is that the jump to 51 in the final few weeks seems extreme and also the runs following your long run seem on the long side. Best of luck.
Thanks Gary! It comes from some previous 9 day blocks of 41, 45, and 48 miles, so I feel okay about it. Some weeks look low because I have races, and for me I need to lower the volume right now in those efforts from the tendon issues.
@@ChristianRunsNY Tendon issues are my downfall, I've been battling tendonitis for a number of years now. Have you tried shock wave treatment or a cortisone injection?
So with this plan, it doesn't really matter about that, "once a week long run," as long as you do all the weekly mileage according to this plan, right?
It’s just a once per 9 day long run instead of once each 7 days. So in a typical calendar of 12 months it falls outside a typical week, and some weeks may have a long run and some wont. But I’ll be thinking of everything in the 9 day stages.
