He (and other 2 members who sued) were blacklisted from the industry so he couldn’t interact with alot of idols he was friends with. He also couldn’t GAIN any new friends easily either since he wasn’t allowed on variety or music shows 😔 Plus, due to the blacklisting, he had to go overseas to Japan a lot. Since he was popular over there and could actually promote. So he just lost a lot of contacts over time. That is part of the reason why he started Jaefriends. Now that he has a bit more freedom in the industry now than before.

Even still, Jaejoong has told stories of the group struggling to get food back then. They’d only have enough to buy like 1 thing and split it 5 ways. Those early parts are always the toughest times for groups.

(Short introduction: BDU is a 4 member group that came out of a Mnet vocal survival show last year. Eunkwang was one of the judges. The group is only temporary and the members are still in their other permanent groups. Members are: Jay Chang from Onepact/Soloist (he was on BoysPlanet and is now in OnePact with 4 others from BoysPlanet: Jongwoo, Seongmin, Tag and Yedam), Bitsaeon from M.O.N.T, Seunghun from Cix and Minseo
TVXQ were my OG favs!! Hope you watch some more Jaefriends!! He is a legend especially in Japan for being the main vocal and visual. Funfact: TVXQ did 2 One Piece op and 1 ending song! They also have a world record for the most amount of fancafe members beating out Elvis!!!
