Hi and thanks, Fishaholicboy for sharing. Wow...I wish you had footage that Your brother, Stanley made "Boo Boo" on his surf ski kayak's bow. I almost feel his pain...🩹 He was fortunate to hire such an old-fashioned expert who can give you the instructions and an explanation that even I can understand. Look forward to the next episode.Stay dry and stay cool 😎
I actually would've liked to have seen that footage too but no videos to show.. maybe I can damage his kayak intentionally haha. Btw, Stanley is a friend, my brother is in Australia and was only in a couple of videos when I was lucky enough to visit earlier this year :)
@@Fishaholicboy Ooops, please accept my apologies about Stanley. Yeah...do that damage his luxury surf ski kayak again and make sure to film it...kidding.. He will be kayaking with great caution for a while. I really like your new content, also would like to see your kayak trips, too when you have time. 🛶😎
It is recommended to wash thoroughly with fresh water and dry it for at least a week before repairing. This is because when seawater seeps into the carbon, the salt crystals cause microscopic damage in the long run. ^^
Ahh that’s a great tip! My friend didn’t use it for a week or so and he did wash it with freshwater before putting it away. But thank you for this great tip!
Hi! Was your repair larger than this? Was my first time seeing a repair so it was great! I feel that if I ever get a fibreglass kayak, I'll have to know how to do this!
Nice kayaks thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for watching! It was a great learning experience!

Great video! This reminds me I should fix that hole in my wall.. 🤔
Oh what happened to your wall? 😂
@@Fishaholicboy I knocked my tripod down, and it's kind of big and heavy 😂
@@PongLangYan1 dam! Tripods are tricky! I always kick the legs ha

nice repair
I hope I don't ever need to do this.. unless I get a fibreglass kayak :)
I did the same on a kayak a few days ago. I wear out my kayaks 😁

Those plastic boats are looking nicer and nicer. Lol...
The kayaks are getting more and more nicer 😂 Luckily mine are still all plastic but eventually it will be my turn!
Is it epoxy or polyester resin?
Not so sure… I remember they mixed two liquids together so most likely epoxy? I’m clueless with these things 😅
