Saviland is Trash. I Said What I Said

- If it seems too good to be true, it usually is! Saviland posted “100% sable” acrylic brushes. Bundle deals. I ordered them to see if they were actually sable. Guess what? lol
Stay tuned for the month of giveaways!
so true I ordered glow in the dark they didn't glow and they sent me the wrong colors DONT GET SAVE YOUR MONEY
🙌🏻 I’m pinning this. They’re trash
Oh girl smh 🤦🏻♀️
Shame on them…they didn’t know the brush master was gonna test them
🤣🤣🤣
YES!!!! Finally someone said it! I got a set for christmas, went to use them and was like OMG these are like nylon! I tried a practice set and I couldnt even lay the acrylic! I was sooo disappointed! They are trash brushes! I was so upset. I have a couple expensive brushes so i know a good brush even if I am a newbie. I could not work with these one bit. So sad.
I’m so sorry. They need to be sued. Garbage sellers with garbage products
Any easy test I do is pluck out a single hair with tweezers or cut one out so you're not pulling at the other hairs base. Hold it in metal tweezers and burn it with a flame and you will notice right away if it's natural bristles it gives off that unmistakable burning hair smell and synthetic do not they give off a burnt plastic or synthetic smell. Easy and sure way to know if it hair or plastic
That’s so cool, a few videos before this, someone else mentioned this, so i started including it on my test and reviews. I love burning stuff!
yeah im stuck only one finger but what do i do
is it wrong light ? im not a beginner , but im actually reaching out i swore so i had to edit
and i am a current customer and cant get in touch
im trying to convince myself its my fault i tried all lights and im not talking amazon
@@carlacourtois5905 what do you mean lights?
It’s not you. Trust me. My friend who is a big artist had the same issues
So disappointing to see a company do this. Thanks for making us all aware of this. I had those brushes in my cart on Amazon at some point but never felt inclined to purchase. So glad I never did. Tfs! 😊
See, you got the brush sense. You know when you see them and they look great but you just get a vibe.
@@kristimayes2017 Yes exactly. There was a vibe. Like it's too good to be true!
@@RozeBeauty318 yes!
Thanks for the heads up. The pretty handles really grab your attention and tempt you to buy but definitely staying clear from these.
They do, they look like they would be high quality.
“Who you tryna fake with the dye?” Best line of the video🤣🤣🤣
And we know who they’re trying to fool. All that trouble and they coulda just not lol
Thank you for this, this is something I def would have fell for. I’m so glad I found your channel as I’m on my search for a good brush to learn with. I bought a really good brush totally sable kolinsky and I’ve used it a couple times still soft and clean BUT it’s HUGE 😩 I figured I needed a bigger brush and my local supply had these for 15$ and said they were OLD OLD. I’m sure they would be a goldmine foe someone who knows acrylic. So I’m gonna save it to work up to BUT now I need a smaller one
I suggest the kads wooden handle. They’re good quality and under $20. That’s my go to in a pinch
@@kristimayes2017 Thank you ! 🙏
I really hate these brushes! I said this b4!!!. The cow 🐄 print brushes are HORRIFIC!! THEY CLUMP UP QUICKLY, DIG INTO YOUR ACRYLICS!!! YOU HAVE TO CONSTANTLY CLEAN THEM 🙄. I'VE BEEN DOING NAILS SIMCE 1997 AND WILL NEVER USE THIS 🗑 🚮 TRASH!!
Omg I thought that's what they were doing because I went to clean a gel brush and it turned my gel solution orange
Ugh. That’s just awful.
I ordered these weeks ago n I've used them n they are in no way long lasting as soon as used them they started spreading apart , hairs were going everywhere just absolutely upset with it as a beginner I could really use someone's advice on what brushes I should use
I’m so sorry to hear that. They talk a big game but they are so deceptive. If you got them from Amazon they will absolutely take them back, even if they’re used. Even if it’s outside of your return windows since it’s supplies. Just tell them you only recently opened them, because you trusted the Amazon description 😉
They are straight nylon. Even as a beginner, Even if you were messing up big time, they shouldn’t do that. They’re just deceptive. If you got them from the Saviland website, go on their Instagram and comment about your experience. That always gets them moving
@@kristimayes2017 thank you so much , is there a brush you recommend me to use
@@lifestyleofpluto7162 i highly recommend the beetles wooden handle brush in a size 8 to start. It’s very reasonable and an exact copy of the pana. It’s also pure sable. Let me grab you a link

They’re always the burn test. If it melts its nylon.
I’ve never heard of that, but i do love to burn things!
@@kristimayes2017 ha ha ha! I do too. It's a good test for fiber content - yarn, fabric, etc. Synthetics melt.
This is such good timing. I recorded last night a brush that was beautiful. I could have sworn it was all sable. But acrylic is sticking so bad. I can’t figure it out.
Imma burn it lol
girl my blood is boiling all over again! 😂 and so trueee they spent way more on the handles than on the bristles! coz that's how they get people to buy them! shit you really hit the nail on the head there. Triggered.
It should be illegal. I can’t sell horse as beef. Why is this ok?
I just started doing acrylic an poly gel nails an the saviland is the hardest acrylic to work with.
Honestly I’m not even sure its acrylic
Good catch 🥰
I'm glad your here to review the brushes lol I have a hard time returning things !!
Oh i couldn’t do it either. I would get so anxious and self conscious. Like it isn’t that much money, why go to the trouble and have everyone think I’m a jerk. But you all made me get over it. I was like nah, they’ve taken enough money from my friends. Not another dime
@@kristimayes2017 That is exactly how I feel about it but your right these companies don't care at all. You are a great example =)
Have you used the brand supernail? for the acrylic powder?
@@christinaheide3956 is that the white black and red label?
@@kristimayes2017 Yes!
@@kristimayes2017 Yes is have you tried it?
That sucks. A UA-camr from Europe recommends their acrylic powders . The only thing from them I have is the powders. There Amazon site looks like cheap quality
There are different products available in Europe, i haven’t tried their powders though. I’ll have to try them
What’s another couple of really good brushes to buy ladies? I got fooled by Saviland 😢
Kads wooden brushes are great. Dashboard when they finally release.
I bought one of these brushes except it was a nylon brush. I couldn’t even pick up a bead of acrylic with it idk it was so weird lol. I needed up resorting to a brush I already had to do my nails last night. Mind you the brush I already had on hand was damaged and fake kollinsky cheap brush I bought on Temu. Which was why I was looking for a new brush! But it Still worked better then the Saviland brushes I just bought😂 I will keep searching for my next new brush!
If you need any recommendations, let me know! I know some great ones under $20- all the way up to $80 lol
@@kristimayes2017 yes please lol! Thank u🙏 I bought set of these Saviland brushes for like $23 on Amazon all kinds of different sizes. Willing to spend more coin as long as the brush does what I want it to do 😂
@@calyssia27 kads has a red wood handle brush that’s actually kolinsky for under 20. Beaute Galleria has a set with a size 8 and a size 12 for around 30 i believe. Both on Amazon
I’ve tested both myself. Loved them
@@kristimayes2017 thank you I will be buying today!
Lol at 6:02 all those spelling mistakes are making me giggle. How professional. I landed on your channel because I actually am/was literally considering buying the saviland acrylic kit on amazon for sale for I think $15.00 at the moment. So I wanted to watch a few testing videos of said product. After watching your acrylic kit testing video & now this one, I have changed my mind and I'm deleting this item off my amazon shopping list! I've been looking online for almost a week now for either an acrylic kit with everything I would need or some more polygel only Cuz I have lots of supplies for polygel already. I'm so indecisive Cuz the very 1st polygel kit I purchased was that brand "coselia" and it SUCKS SO HORRIBLY. So idk what to do. I can only afford under $20 at this current moment in time. Im realizing that I'm not going to get anything great for under $20- :/
Mia secret has a small kit for about 25. But modelones has one for 10. It’s at least actual acrylic. Just the brush is gross. But you can use a kads brush and you’ll be fine. My recommendation is the Mia secret one if you can catch it on sale or hold off just a bit
@@kristimayes2017 thank you for your input. I greatly appreciate that.
Oh yeah Coselia sucks!!! I bought their gel polish kit for approx. $15. You get what you pay for lol! I switched to modelones after that and it’s been a real game changer. For the price you pay, you get decent product. I now buy their gel polish, acrylic, monomer, Etc. until I can afford better professional products. I’ve never tried their acrylic brushes but I’d say it’s worth a shot as long as their real Kolinsky.
I'm a beginner self taught nail tech I was going to buy saviland acrylic when I first started buy acrylic but I decided to steer away from them I was also thinking of getting a brush at one point good thing I didn't 😁 I ended up buying one from my local nail shop
Good to hear! I’m hoping they decide to change their ways but i don’t have high hopes
@@kristimayes2017 yeah I get you I hope so but we shall see! I got a nail brush from Amazon once different brand but they also claimed it was 100% kolinsky & it wasn't! The acrylic was sticking to the brush & would not come off! I returned it for a full refund I do believe you reviewed it already it was the Hilsoeet
@@dianepriscilla2768 i reviewed one that looked identical, the kemeisi. But the pics are all the same so it’s probably the same brush
Omg straight Trash, so glad for this heads up gurl. Thank you so much. Learning a lot form you everyday. 🤗🤗🤗
That is so sweet. I’m glad i can help. 😊
That is really frustrating!! I agree with you, so wrong to straight up lie about it! I’m not super impressed with their company right now anyway. I bought some colored acrylics from them and so far they have been a bugger to use. 🤦♀️
I’m not impressed with them as a whole at the moment. They’ve went downhill the last six months
@@kristimayes2017 that’s good to know, I’m just getting back into acrylic and it sucks thinking you are the issue but I know it’s not because the $7 kiss kit at Walmart works WAY better than their acrylic does, at least for me. I think I’ll steer clear of them for a while.
@@EmilysCreativeLife ok but i literally did a video on trying the kiss kit again, because it was the first thing i tried and it was awful. But i tried again after learning some stuff, and it was great. It was just being a newbie that made it awful lol
I've been telling my krewe in my videos Saviland brushes are the worst I've ever used
Spread the word. That’s what I’m doing too! They’re just tempting enough to get people
I was tempted to give these brushes a try. I kept seeing them on Amazon. Im so glad you saved me. I’m thankful 🙏 Your time & honesty is very much appreciated
Thank you so much
I got a brush just like that on Shein for $2. 😂 I do like some of Saviland stuff though. I love their clear builder gel. But this is not cool.
I have heard good things about their sculpting gel too. I don’t know why but this made me unreasonably angry. lol. One dang handle cost more than all the heads
@@kristimayes2017 I’m a gel girl. I’ve been doing gel nails for a couple of years, but I recently ordered some Not Polish acrylic and Kiara Sky. I love my gel, but I think ombré and encapsulation looks so much easier with acrylic. I bought a cheap acrylic brush, but it sucks. Acrylic is constantly getting stuck in it. So I was looking for a decent brush at a decent price and found your channel. Would you recommend the Kads or Beaute Galleria more?
Beaute galleria. The two brush deal is heaven sent. Beautiful sable quality. Kads is good for the price if you want a decent brush you won’t cry over if you trash. But the beaute Galleria ones are solid and will definitely help perfect your technique. They’re pana quality without the extra thickness
@@SoulShiner1115 just be sure you prep them the day before, to avoid sticking. After you clean the starch, rinse in monomer then add a few drops of cuticle oil and shape. Let it dry and it’ll have a good seal on it to help prevent inadvertent sticking
@@kristimayes2017 Thank you! Going to purchase those now. Can’t wait to try them. Just bought a big pack of dried flowers and can’t wait to encapsulate them with acrylic.
I just bought this brush and it got ruined by day 2 ☹️
See? They lie.
@@kristimayes2017 it was too pretty to be true😭
@@emmary3214 I’ve gotten brushes from aliexpress with the same handles, but they were real sable. And they were like $7 each. So it’s possible. Saviland is just low.
The video after this, that one seems too good to be true, but it’s legit.
@@kristimayes2017 really? I’ll have to check it out then! Thank you ❤️
I barely started to get into nails and as a beginner I wouldn’t know if it good and I just order these seats from Amazon and I just saw this video just now😩 I just wouldn’t know the difference and it had good start viewing
If you need help finding good brushes i can help. But Amazon will take these back no questions asked. And they can cancel your order
The wooden kads brushes are good, so is the wooden beetles brush.
Dam it I ordered these two weeks ago, but haven't tried em yet, 😡😡 I'm getting a refund I'm pissed, thanks a bunch
For sure make them take that crap back.
They are fooling the beginner that doesn't know any better! That's wrong!
Agreed. That’s why i wasn’t real hesitant to use that title lol
See, I knew I wasn’t tripping when it comes to “trashi-land” lol.. I had already seen another UA-camr “Vee nailed it” use these not even knowing they were nylon.. well she used them and man did she switch her brush up real quick she couldn’t even do a nail with them lol.
I feel like testing it would give it Legitimacy Where it deserved none. Like it was even mildly fooling us. But they need beat up over this.
I feel like they weren’t always this bad. Maybe I just didn’t know better lol
And I ordered the exact same ones, they arrived today 😪
Thank you for this video...we need an update if anything happens
Oh for sure! I’m sure I’m not big enough for them to bother with, but i emailed them too lol

Nightmare. I would not buy one of these Saviland things expecting a great brush they look like inkers or carvers. I don't see much of a belly to press-crimp and they aren't broad across. #22 would be my choice. Big handle for comfort carp or mermaid tail. Save the little digits for striping and carving pearls. Careful that you get help if you do it yourself, brushes take time to master crimp-pressing.
