FYI stairs snap higher to a porch piece than a regular foundation. Save the faffing about at the start getting the stairs at the right height.

Some sweet building tips, thanks Darth. I might have to borrow inspiration for the scaffolding soon. My only gripe with outdoor building areas is that patios could use more floor decor. Outside mats or rugs that look really rough
I'm loving the scaffolding, I've made a shack with a scaffold with a workshop on it near murgles voffee stop beside the lake, it is a bit annoying that you can't place it in rock
I was playing around with it today and it’s quite flexible! But Is there a way to stack it like real scaffolding? It’d save alot of hassle, esp considering the 90 degree turns are picky and i can’t seem to get them to make a full U-bend.
it was this video and the use of those half angled walls that told me own to close those angle roofs. I needed that lol

I used that one a while ago and built it into a larger farm type camp. Most of the builds I've seen using it tend to use it as a starting point and build out from there. It can be tough to get a larger theme together though.

Has anyone else noticed that, at least with the Pitt shelter, you can take away the stairs now even after they have floors attached to them. I have not tried it in the normal world, but it would be nice if it worked there as well. Also, the doors no longer need a frame in the Pitt shelter at least. I was able to take the chain-link fence door from the wrecked home set and was able to make it work with the rusted chain-link fences.
Relaxed building rules in shelters. It does make things easier!
Really nice. I’ve got to figure out how to get that shipping container set.
I'd keep an eye on the Atomic Shop and Minerva's store. Most of the containers were season rewards so it might be a while before they reappear but I'd bet they will eventually.

I'm looking at making a little shanty town with a handful of prefabs and some busy decorating and manikins! Manikins as npcs everywhere!
The wasteland might be getting to my character...
But seriously, it's really unique from concept to lighting and I'd love to see what you do with the space.
It's a cool concept but I'm not bothered about it really. The place basically has the same budget as the other big ones which is nowhere near enough to do a proper job on imo.

I’m surprised you haven’t did the bunker, not the one you did one awhile back the more gives you more space
The missile silo shelter? The issue I have with shelters generally is that the larger ones don't have enough budget to do a complete job on. Ones like the abandoned mine are a bit better because you can do a smaller build within the space but the shelter's with a predefined theme like vaults and the silo are not so well suited to that.
@@DarthXionGames yeah, the mines i have not done but again surprised you haven’t done vault atrium not that you will it just you haven’t mention in your livestreams
I'll have mentioned it at some point but we're coming up on 2 years since that came out so it was probably a while ago. It has the same issues as the other ones though. Too big and no matter what you build it'll always be a vault.

What bundle was that glass window a part of? I need to know so I can get it once it’s back in the atom shop.
I'm not sure tbh. It wasn't in a bundle for me, but if I've already got everything in the bundle then it wouldn't appear for me anyway.
Does anyone know if there is a way to stack the new scaffolds on top of each other? That would be really cool.
I'd imagine that would be difficult. It's definitely not designed for that. You'd need some way of getting around the "object is floating" issue, but what that might be... 🤷♂️

I'll be using it eventually. I'd guess that'll be a couple of weeks away though. I've not been rushing through the scoreboard.

There's a few practical issues that get in the way unfortunately. ☺️ I do have a couple of BoS themed builds up on the channel if you are looking for inspiration though.

How the hell does a camp like this generate 18% of the camp budget while my 6x6 2 story house with a roof generate like more than 50% of the budget...
Some items use a lot more budget than others. Turrets are the worst but crops also use a lot. Generators, Water purifiers and things like that too. If you keep that stuff to a minimum you should have much more budget to work with.
