HERE'S HOW TO FIX THE RANGE ROVER EVOQUE SMART KEY NOT FOUND PROBLEM! KEY WORKS ON UNLOCKING AND LOCKING BUT DOESN'T START KEYLESS!!!!
The customer managed to drive in as the Evoque was starting using emergency procedure. This is by holding the key against the plastic cover on steering column where there is an antenna sign. On this situation we resolved the problem by resetting the CAN(communication) network using the diagnostic equipment. In other situations we had to perform a software update or even replace components.
But this is very common and if there is no access to a diagnostic machine a battery reset can also do the trick. Bear in mind the battery reset could also not resolve this and diagnostic machine is required.

To get it started in an emergency you just placed the fob key underneath the steering wheel below the steering column, hold it there step on the break and then hold down on the push start. You will feel an imprint that the key fits into flat.

Hi my key fob works fine but i have to use my control tu lock and unlock my evoque 2013 I have tried presing the buttom 3 times and then the lock buttom and stays the same what should I do to fix it ? Many thanks
