      What causes the cutting boards to have something that looks like fingerprints after it is finished. Wish there was a way to send you a pic so you could see it

    Been doing these for a while. You will find if you used the white vinyl they look great at first but a few months later the will become fuzzy looking. But you can solve that hut using clear 651 then you can use the white after sublimated if you need the colors to show better. I just had to redo over a dozen because the images became so fuzzy looking

I do have a question for you - when I removed my sublimated square dollar tree cutting board from the manual heat press, everything came out very good, except for splotches of possibly the rapid tac that formed when it was pressed. How can I make sure that it doesn't happen on any future items I make? I used all of the materials that you had suggested in your tutorial. Thank you so much!

    • @SnazzyMoonDesigns

    • @Havok412
      @Havok412 8 місяців тому

      @@SnazzyMoonDesigns So this is a bit confusing for me. Since sublimation requires a polymer coating. Does that mean that part of the vinyl stays on the glass after using the heatpress with the sublimation paper and picture? Does this mean if I were to put for example 8 lines going across and then sublimated a picture ontop like you did it would only stay on the parts that had the vinyl correct? And what stays on the glass is essentially part of the coating from the vinyl?

    • @SnazzyMoonDesigns

    What is special about Oracle 651? Would any white vinyl work?

    • @SnazzyMoonDesigns
      @SnazzyMoonDesigns  Рік тому

      The main difference between Oracle 651 and regular white vinyl is the quality, durability, and adhesive strength. Oracle 651 is a brand known for high-quality, long-lasting vinyl with strong adhesive properties, while regular white vinyl can vary in quality and may not be as reliable for outdoor or high-demand applications. The choice between the two depends on the specific needs of your project and your desired level of quality and durability. Thanks for watching!

    This might seem like a silly question but what type of printer and paper do you use for your designs?

      We have 3 printers. Epson 4760, Epson 15000 and the F170. We use the F170 for the tumbler designs and the other two for designs that need to be pressed. Thanks for watching!
