I used to cover up my arms so much. I had to come to terms with the fact that they were just as big in the cardigan as they were in the cute strapless dresses that I longed to wear. I still feel a little self conscious at times but I wear the things that I like and don’t worry about covering up all the time.
Your hair is SO cute like that! Love it! The size on the tag has always been the hardest for me. I've literally been a big tall girl all of my life and struggled with being the biggest female in the room. As I've drifted into the woman of a certain age category, I've adjusted and learned that my size does not mean I have to live my life as a frumpy mess. I've embraced it! Thanks for another great video from a true 5'11 size 16. 👍 I love your passion and you are truly an inspiration to me! God bless!
I am grateful, again and again, for your wise words! I’m a 60-year-old woman and a size 16. I am a professional musician, so my entire wardrobe is filled with things I wear on the concert stage or to go to dinner with the presenter after the recital and matching sets that I can wear comfortably while I’m teaching 40 students at home. I’m extremely knock-need, so I feel the most confident with skirts that go past the knee or flowing wide leg trousers and jeans. I call my style minimalist Bohemian. artful and tailored, more bohemian during the summer and more minimalist during winter. I didn’t know any of this about myself until I met you. I worked hard the last five years to clarify my sense of style and learn my colors (deep winter). As a woman of a certain age, it’s been important to me to finally take the time to focus on myself. To look in the mirror and see myself instead of someone’s wife or someone’s friend or someone’s daughter. It’s been a process of growth and self discovery. You have been an incredible guide and teacher to me. Thanks to your advice, I see myself and I feel beautiful! I’m so grateful to you💕
Its not that I follow trends, but I’m learning to not buy something just because it’s cute, rather than how it will fit in my lifestyle, how much wear will I get out of it
This is the some of same advice my mom has been giving me and I refused to listen, (until last year) so she just kept buying me things and putting them in my wardrobe and one day I just gave in and wore an outfit she picked out because i couldn't be bothered to argue anymore and I loved it. You and my mom have definitely elevated my wardrobe so thanks 🎉💐
Hey Chichi❤ Fit over size. The psychological games manufacturers play though!!! I'm "old" & it still affects me. I've NEVER been one of the petite girlies. Always big & easy for me to gain weight. That's why I'm grateful for you. ❤ tfs

❤ hey there, I completely relate to having a closet full of clothes with nothing to wear. Your advice is so Practical bc I have not been shopping for my actual lifestyle as a nurse/church/wife (empty nesters)/ occasional date night or getting with friends. I have to be more intentional/practical. I also love what you said about color, bc I do love it but find myself going towards neutrals bc it's safe. Thanks for your practical advice. 😊
These were great tips. Personal style is definitely the way to go. I am learning to pair down what I have in order to rotate my clothing, however……. I get dress based on how I feel. Thank you for sharing.
LOVE your videos! Do you like the Trendy tank top (Macy's) more than you like the A New Day tank top (Target) that you list on your LTK page? I notice both will require an unusual bra configuration, if I don't want to show straps. Can you recommend a bra that works with those -- I try to avoid underwire, which can be difficult when trying to meet other parameters (racer back, re-configurable straps, etc).

This me too like I just decided one day to give myself the permission to despite me feeling a lil self consious because we only get one life

Great video.
P.S. I think you meant to say "litmus test", not "limit test".
You're right!
O can we get the link to those target tanks?
Yes, I'm overly concerned about my arms.
