I love my barrel jeans! I’m an inverted triangle so they balance my thin hips, no butt and legs out. I always felt like an ice cream cone in skinny jeans. I’ve been rocking my wide/wider leg jeans for 6 years now. Skinny jeans are forever delegated to being worn on the inside of boots and I’ve never owned a cold shoulder top! I did go in hard for the waterfall everything and the shark bite tops when they were popular so I’m not guilt free 😂.

I hate shorts of any kind, I m more comfortable in dresses, with colorful patterns and combo accessories. I love kimonos also, specially those Arabic with lace. Today I bought a fabric coupon of Burberry cotton, the beige one, to make a dress and a kimono, I will add some stuff to make it different, I m so happy 😊❤ don't forgot your creativity, you can have ideas and someone else will make for you ❤❤❤
I do love the idea of making things its the one things I miss about my country of origin getting clothes made is still the norm you just have to find a good seamstress and the world is your oyster!
I don't like the barrel jeans, they give a "bow-legged look" in my opinion. I'm curvy, so they especially don't suit me. Those pedal pushers should have stayed in the past, I always hated those. I'll go with straight cut or bootcut because I'm over skinny and flare. -- Um, I've been wearing denim bermudas and capris/pedal pushers for the last 10 years so thanks for the respect, lol. -- I like some of the cold shoulder stuff still, but for me personally it has to look like 2 different straps. Your second example of a hole in the arm version has always made me think of middle aged white trash (not trying to be offensive but it's the vibe it gives me). I can't do those ones.

I agree with most except on summer shoes. I still love a short ankle wrap gladiator style shoe as I have narrow feet. Slides just slide on off. When it comes to shoes wear what is most comfortable for you based on your feet. Style and comfort do coexist!

I wore pedal pushers for the reason they created for, riding a bike. I rode a bike in the 1960's not 1996.🤣 Now were in 2024, it's now a trend, no it's fashion repeating itself. That is what fashion is supposed to do, so designers can take it to that next level of style!❤

I'm a size 16/18 and i LOVE barrel jeans. Free People has a CRVY line, also anthro. I wear mine with sneakers and a button up shirt, and people stop me on the street to ask about my outfit. The key for me is to make the outfit effortless, especially in spring/summer.
The Jorts and boxer short wear are a redo of tge 90's for me, I do think there is still a audience for those looks, just not me, also all trends are not for all body types, at the end of the day if style is trending however does not flatter me, it is noy an option for me.
Everything new was old. There is the Bermuda short. For some reason it appears to be novel to you. And I guess if you slap a name on anything and give it to a genzier it's new. But all of these things are not novel in fashion. you know that. And your older subscriber knows that. I am done with a big bag I still have 3 that I have in my closet that for some reason I'm not giving away because they're just that good but I have not worn them in years. I like to ease the comfort of a smaller bag. I like the cross body bag. I like stuff I don't have to lug around. You can buy those big bags if you want to. But they will be in your closet forever.
Since I know they’re not new nothing is new under the sun when it comes to fashion we are just recycling and renaming the same thing with a few tweaks here and there. As far as the big bag like I said, it’s a living hate relationship I like the way, it looks with certain styles like if you’re attentive, lean very BoHo during the summer and an oversize bag especially if it’s woven just works with that look but I’m from a practical every day standpoint then I’m a Crossbody girl through and through as well . More than following any Trend I am a do what works for you. Lean into trebds that align with your personal style in life.
Never heard of Barrel jeans after seeing them I can't. NOPE Bodycons I just call those body hugging and stopped wearing them decades ago after I turned 30. Jorts? Nope too .but I call them another name I forget. Boxers nope.Pedal Pushers look better on apple body and others rather than Capri which hit at wide part of our legs. I might got to see a pair on .Big bags yes .Micro shorts NOOOO if they are exotic dancers then....Under a short skirt ( IF) I Can't find a cute skort. Cold shoulders are current on Catos website. Waterfall don't look right on me so I never.
The cold shoulder and the high low were anathema to me. From the inception I found them ridiculous and reprehensible in terms of any kind of fashion style.
Listen, someone in the Plus design department, decided they where going to be the poster children OK for fashion for us and ever since then it is has had the design dept in a choke cold

This balloon barrel valuminous jeanes are atrocious. Nothing flattering about them. Bodycon forever. If you want to wear spanks you wear spanks if you don't want to wear spanks you don't. What it gives you is a consciousness of your body and then what it gives you as a consciousness that your body is beautiful. Bodycon forever and has nothing to do with fashion Nova or anybody else. It's a sheath that is a little tighter. That's all it is. And more often than not it's lovely on the body. It establishes your femininity and your sensuality and your sexiness.
Let’s agree to disagree on this one. There’s so many other dress styles that are feminine and sexy that are a lot more forgiving and give a better shape and structure to a woman’s body than a thin piece of spandex, which a lot of these body con dresses are made out of. I personally don’t subscribe to the school of thought that an item Hass to be tight or fitted to your body in order for you to feel sexy and although there are many women that can rock a body con dress without foundation garments there also a lot of women that just don’t feel comfortable because of where they carry weight. All that manifest itself as angst and self consciousness. Hence, my call out to try out other silhouettes that will give you the same outcome without the unnecessary Complications.

I am definitely not into the barrel jeans, not my cup of tea. Question? Are there really fashion trends or fashion just repeating itself as our cousin @neciajax stated. I don't believe in trends. I wore pedal pushers for the reason they created for, riding a bike. I rode a bike in the 1960's not 1996.🤣 Now were in 2024, it's now a trend, no it's fashion repeating itself. That is what fashion is supposed to do, so designers can take it to that next level of style!❤
So I feel like somethings called a trend when people just collectively agree that this New thing is somethings they all are choosing to participate in. But in fashion literally nothing is new, so you’re right.
I'm a size 16/18 and i LOVE barrel jeans. Free People has a CRVY line, also anthro. I wear mine with sneakers and a button up shirt, and people stop me on the street to ask about my outfit. The key for me is to make the outfit effortless, especially in spring/summer.

The Jorts and boxer short wear are a redo of tge 90's for me, I do think there is still a audience for those looks, just not me, also all trends are not for all body types, at the end of the day if style is trending however does not flatter me, it is noy an option for me.
Everything new was old. There is the Bermuda short. For some reason it appears to be novel to you. And I guess if you slap a name on anything and give it to a genzier it's new. But all of these things are not novel in fashion. you know that. And your older subscriber knows that. I am done with a big bag I still have 3 that I have in my closet that for some reason I'm not giving away because they're just that good but I have not worn them in years. I like to ease the comfort of a smaller bag. I like the cross body bag. I like stuff I don't have to lug around. You can buy those big bags if you want to. But they will be in your closet forever.
Since I know they’re not new nothing is new under the sun when it comes to fashion we are just recycling and renaming the same thing with a few tweaks here and there. As far as the big bag like I said, it’s a living hate relationship I like the way, it looks with certain styles like if you’re attentive, lean very BoHo during the summer and an oversize bag especially if it’s woven just works with that look but I’m from a practical every day standpoint then I’m a Crossbody girl through and through as well . More than following any Trend I am a do what works for you. Lean into trebds that align with your personal style in life.

Bodycons I just call those body hugging and stopped wearing them decades ago after I turned 30. Jorts? Nope too .but I call them another name I forget. Boxers nope.Pedal Pushers look better on apple body and others rather than Capri which hit at wide part of our legs. I might got to see a pair on .Big bags yes .Micro shorts NOOOO if they are exotic dancers then....Under a short skirt ( IF) I Can't find a cute skort. Cold shoulders are current on Catos website. Waterfall don't look right on me so I never.
The cold shoulder and the high low were anathema to me. From the inception I found them ridiculous and reprehensible in terms of any kind of fashion style.
Listen, someone in the Plus design department, decided they where going to be the poster children OK for fashion for us and ever since then it is has had the design dept in a choke cold

Respectfully, the girls are not eating up the boxer, short trend, at least not in the pictures posted. I do remember this trend from the early 90s. I’m not gonna lie, I used to wear the boxer short trend. But that’s when we were literally wearing real boxer shorts outside as girls 😵💫😵💫
This balloon barrel valuminous jeanes are atrocious. Nothing flattering about them. Bodycon forever. If you want to wear spanks you wear spanks if you don't want to wear spanks you don't. What it gives you is a consciousness of your body and then what it gives you as a consciousness that your body is beautiful. Bodycon forever and has nothing to do with fashion Nova or anybody else. It's a sheath that is a little tighter. That's all it is. And more often than not it's lovely on the body. It establishes your femininity and your sensuality and your sexiness.
Let’s agree to disagree on this one. There’s so many other dress styles that are feminine and sexy that are a lot more forgiving and give a better shape and structure to a woman’s body than a thin piece of spandex, which a lot of these body con dresses are made out of. I personally don’t subscribe to the school of thought that an item Hass to be tight or fitted to your body in order for you to feel sexy and although there are many women that can rock a body con dress without foundation garments there also a lot of women that just don’t feel comfortable because of where they carry weight. All that manifest itself as angst and self consciousness. Hence, my call out to try out other silhouettes that will give you the same outcome without the unnecessary Complications.
