No, no, no. Putting an LS engine into the Hornet is a terrible, horrid idea. Why do people think that putting a chevy engine into other companies cars is a good idea? I've seen model T's with 350s in them, Hudson's with chevys inside, Jeeps with 350s, etc. What would you think if I got a 68 Corvette and installed a mopar 340 in it. Do you see the insanity that that would be? As if you can't get crate mopar or ford engines. If the AMC Hornet is such a rare car, why, *why* put an LS engine in it? Dumb suggestion.
