Very nice quick little "how to" video, that was a nasty snap on the previous bar. Good little fix on the wattage bulbs as well, very smart fix. Great video mate, hope you're well.
Thank you kindly Sir, appreciate you taking the time to stop by, watch and comment. I was thankful the wiring stayed in tact with previous bar break! 🙏
Now I see what you were doing when we were talking the other day! Nicely done. You saved a ton of money by doing it yourself. I hope it doesn’t fail again Good job 👍
Can't believe how bent up and brittle that bracket was. Nice work fixing it properly - proper soldering, heat-shrink wrap, problem solving, man I've got a list of things I'd like you to do on my bikes!! Very cool.
For sure Nic - it surprised me too! I wanted to do it properly, not mucking about doing it by halves. Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and comment mate 🙏
Hi..I just subscribe...Nice helpful video..I have a question..Im planning to install this extra fog light on my shadow 750 ACE...As i understand you remove the original screws that was holding the turn signal lights and you install new screws bigger one so you can screw the bar from under with bolts right? i was always wondering how i would secure the bar onto my bike Thanks in advance
Hi there, sorry I can't answer your question as my bike came with the light bar installed already so I don't know how it was secured originally and I used the bolts already there. Thank you for subscribing! I really appreciate it.
Have you tried putting the smaller globes in the rear blinkers also to see if it fixes it? if the rears are different to the front it may make it flash quicker
The rear globes are correct wattage, but the fronts are too low which is why it fast-flashes. Have new ones on order to rectify the issue and disco blinkers till then lol.
Didi you have to drilll through your triple tree to get those bolts to go through? I mounted mine between the headlight and the top of the triple tree but it was very bouncy
@@AnxietyWizard thanks for the quick reply! Mine doesnt thread all the way through, but i have an 03 ace 750 so might be different. Good fix though man!
@@schravin no worries - that's a damn shame man sorry to hear that. I'd have taken it to a shop if I had to drill or do something that drastic because I'm a scaredy cat 😂😅
I think you need more zip ties 😅(glad you got rid of those) But seriously, isn't that the way it always is...you go to look at something and it turns out to be a bigger project than ya thought? lol
Legend! Fixed it! Well done man. And cheers for the shoutout. Always happy to help.
You are friggen sensational x
Appreciate your advice so much man, thank you!
He sure is!
@@Zulu_117_ST hahaha. I’m just too well versed in fixing stuff because I always buy broken things. 😂😂😂

That was a good pick up and repair, Spencer. Stef is brilliant at lending a hand. Ride well. Cheers
Thanks Mozzie, Stef is such a rad human.
Very handy Wiz. Awesome man. Great you sorted it all relatively easily.
I was too - figured giving it a go would save a bit of coin and it all worked out in the end (thank goodness! 😂)
Now I see what you were doing when we were talking the other day!

Good job 👍
Yessir - sorry again that I couldn't answer! I hope it doesn't fail again but the bracket is a silly design so I expect it to at some stage.
@@AnxietyWizard ✌️🤘
A really great helpful video for other folks. Keep up the great work Spencer!
Thanks Uncle Kraken, appreciate you!
Wow I just learnt something new tonight!
Thanks for sharing and yes Stef is bloody awesome 😎
Stef is amazing! Glad to be of help in passing on the knowledge
Great seeing you get in and fix the issue mate.
Worth a shot, was glad it worked!

Good stuff Spencer - learnt a bit about blinker wattages - didn't know that the wrong wattage changes the blink rate... Nice vid!
Me either until Big Stef taught me! Thanks Andrew.
Very handy to know your shit around bikes, and/or know someone who does.
Nice work mate, can’t wait to see that bike in three weeks. 😉✌️
Can't wait to show you my man!

Nope - didn't have to drill through anything thankfully.

The fix for the bar is spacers between bar and triple tree I used nuts as spacers on my Vulcan 500 to get lower than the curve in the cast
Nice easy fix
Yessir, thank fuck 😅
Love it!
Thank you lovely one!
There’s some great advice, carry zip ties and check your lights, cheers 😎
Zip ties are like duct tape; invaluable!
I think you need more zip ties 😅(glad you got rid of those)

Sure is! Just glad I got there in the end - and glad those zip ties are GONE! 😅 Thanks for watching and commenting mate ✌️
Yes, the good old wattage and no stock, hahahaha
Gave me the shits for sure! Patience is a virtue as they say 😅
@@AnxietyWizard I've been down that road many times. It's not very exciting. eBay it and wait...
