- Aimé Leon Dore brought back a 1982 tennis sneaker from New Balance - the T500. Releasing as part of the brand's Fall / Winter 2023 lineup, they dropped in three colourways. Today, I'll be reviewing my fave of the three, the "White / Green" pair, that features quality leather uppers and vintage colour blocking atop a classic, clean, silhouette design. Hi Sean! Love your vids as always! Keen to hear from you more about the in everyday Move insole. How high is it on the front part? Would it make AJ1 significantly tighter at the front?

These are kinda growing on me as a sleeker alternative to the 550. I really like the role ALD has played in bringing back older NB silhouettes..

I'm so glad ALD brought these back, these look super nice! I wish New Balance would bring these back as GRs, would love to see more colorways (I think a tan/brown would go crazy).

These are very minimalist and clean. I love the retro appeal and look. Just like your videos, Aime Leon Dore never disappoints. Great review as always and thanks for sharing the insoles. I've been considering some new ones.

Grabbed the black ones. A beautiful simple shoe that I’m able to wear to the office. ALD continues to kill the NB game.
This color of box is clean and like clean color way your can use in every day 🙌

Kinda remind me of the Stan Smith shoe they look comfortable and New Balance got some styles of shoes
I like the red ones a lot but won't go well with my wardrobe. Green looks the most versatile, that also stands out a bit but not too much. Been looking for a simple sneaker that is slimmer so might grab

if they fit a little long for you, do you think the move all day insoles would help take up more space and give you a better fit?
the stock insoles that come with it are already thick so i don’t think the Move insoles would make it any more snug tbh

It’s bad enough they put in a synthetic leather tongue, but a synthetic leather lined ankle collar is such a bad idea. Hate when shoe companies do this thinking it elevates the shoe. It just makes it less comfortable, less breathable and creates lots of heel slippage.
Is it crazy that these look like as if the Stan Smiths and Air Jordan 1 Low OGs had a baby
I’m not mad at these but it’s a pass for me. A shoe I can see better on others than myself. I can always respect a shoe w great quality, that leather looks so good. These are similar to the CT300 we had in store and that shoe did numbers for us. I wasn’t mad at those either

Wished they white out the N logos. Looks more minimal like a pair of Stan Smith.

As much as I understand, every collaboration can't be innovative this is just horrible. The creative process must've taken minutes.
Pick a lifestyle friendly silhouette from the vault, make it with an aged/sail finish and pick one color. Oh and slap our name or logo on it too please. They already make a 574 that's super similar to this.

Fair enough perspective. I guess I'm bored with the collaborations that rely on their design language being a 1% change. Jjjjjjound doesn't get a pass, and the hype they receive isn't credible. I guess my gripe is with consumers not demanding more so that designers would actually produce something of actual art, value, and innovation.

Decent model. Not worth the price at all. Tbh this is a $100 sneaker at most. Doubt the leather is anything different from the ALD 550’s which wasn’t anything special
