When the last adept died in that raid, Neeb had 24 army supply to Elazer's 50. Neeb didn't buy a free win there, he needed more caution for the counter.
Both Game 2 and Game 4 were huge throws. G2 he def did not factor in the counter. G4 he just got blind sided by the infestors and wasn't careful with his army positioning.
Neeb choked on game 4 and you can tell he fell apart after that. He shouldn't have tried to take on Elazer's Broodlords. He couldn't just kept mining and force Elazer to attack in. No idea why he had a Nexus building at the end when he really needed an army.
He didn’t even need to get to that point, Artosis was right, he shouldn’t have been waiting at the edge of the creep after he killed the greater spire, he could’ve ended the game right there by going back and rebuilding his forces and attacking
Here is the true power of skills and speed. I mean look game 5, 20 drone ahead. Neeb push elazer manage to equal army count, and even producing more.... That is just skills... Protoss count on there strong unit.... But no skill no apm... Was really impress by those games.... Shows u can always do it even with 7 overloard overproduced.. OMG these games where so amazing and these ling banneling run by......i need to improve personally a lot on this... Perfect.... Well deserved victory... GG

Now this is the Neeb I'm more used to seeing: The King oF Throws. Gd dammit Neeb, just when I started believing that USA could be relevant in world StarCraft, you reverted to form with the strangest errors in this series. Seriously, in at least 3 situations I could see, you literally could have pulled back, filled the middle of the map with pylons and cannons, and you would have won. You threw away the won game at least 3 times! The most heartbreaking was after you took that game 4, which you had all but lost, and regained it through a series of absolutely brilliant moves, only to lose because you clumped up nicely for the infestors right at the end there. Elazer only had a handful of workers left! All you had to do was use every delaying tactic in the book, and Protoss has quite a few. And you had tempests! You could have spammed stalkers, spread them out, and faced off against the hydras to delay them while your tempests did work. So frustrating to watch. I need to remove myself as a Neeb fan to save myself some heartache.
game 4 just hilarious. neeb dominates early game seemingly [hold down drone key and elazer is fine tho] then he throws away his mid game army for no reason as the casters pointed out. elazer just sends lings and banes every once in a while and gets crazy eco dmg, no real atks the entire game, is just like, "guess what fam, i'm totally cool waiting until my entire army is gglords and full energy winfestors" XD lmao then neeb does what i always want players to do, and not engage the slow zerg OP deathball. gets lucky with the infestors, kills all elazer's workers. with zero economy, elazer yolo's into neeb, high skill a-move's into him [through storm] and spams infestors spells, then neeb sits his ground army on a bunch of broodlings not killing actual units XD instead of just backing off and calming down. if that doesn't prove that gglord/winfestor is OP i don't know what would. talk about smashing your face into a brick wall. you actually wonder if going for elazer's buildings at 1:10:52 would've been enough even, instead of throwing that army for nothing what an absolute gong show of getting carried by zerg and neeb throws. i honestly don't even mind neeb losing that much after all the throwing. sucks to see another zvz final but that's just how it's going to be for a while until they fix zerg
the toss meme is too old and not funny anymore, because they don't have a deathball anymore. Also Zerg is strong since Heart of the Swarm and still ridiculous with Infester, corrupter BL combo. In LotV they got a really good unit as well "ravager" vs toss. So yes, many people are upset about that especially since everyone was bashing toss, but Zerg is fine right? The only thing they nerfed for good was swarm hosts, because no one want to see 2 hour games where zerg is sitting afk in base and idle. I was happy when i saw that we got a remaster of SC1, because the game is way more balanced than this shit. Games feel more action and skill based than this. Also many Koreans switched back to SC1, so that should mean a thing.
Hasel3000 you’re grandmaster right? Unless you’re top player it wouldn’t make that much of a difference, cuz I play Zerg and I loose a lot to Protoss in diamond league (worst match for me) so it does not make that much of a difference for me sadly. Definitely agree with you, when I see pro players play, it seems that is harder for Terran and Protoss to win against Zerg but only between pro players. My brother plays Protoss and he smashes Zerg in master league
