When Lindsay Lohan on Twitter was told by a random that they are going to watch I know who killed me. She replied to him saying "That would be one too many times." Even she disowned it.

I'm glad to see that our reevaluating of how the media treated Britney Spears has led us to reevaluate how other teen girl celebrities were treated in the 2000s. Natalie Portman has talked openly about how she was sexualized when she was only 12 years old. And yet somehow we're surprised when these girls spiral into drug addiction and develop other problems.

Where I'm from, we've been talking about that for years. Actually, I think its one of the things everyone knew about but no one wanted to speak about until it was convenient, which is a shame. For my part at least, I've been speaking about things like this for years both online and in my household.

I'd check out the Three Colors Trilogy and Vertigo (I did compare them with IKWKM as these two worked in context). I'd compare M (1931) with IKWKM as the former was a vastly better serial killer film which seemed like something that would've been done by Hitchcock before Hitchcock became legendary.

You forgot to mention the alternate ending, Sean. You though the twist with the twins drove the movie off the rails? Get a load of this:
In the alternate ending on the DVD, after the twins find each other, it's revealed that THE ENTIRE MOVIE NEVER REALLY HAPPENED! YES REALLY. The whole damn movie was actually a fictional story written by a THIRD girl played by Lindsay Lohan with a PURPLE color motif!
I wish I was making this up. I can only IMAGINE the riots that occurred at test screenings that resulted in that getting yanked.

I remember hearing about this movie when it originally came out and critics panned the hell out of it but the most important thing I remember from those reviews was how NONE of them talked about the story if this, and I mean in a general summary to not spoil people. All they talked about was Lindsey doing the stripper scenes and ending up in a coffin but from there that was it.
Years later, I realize why they didn't and it's mostly because they couldn't come up with a decent, short summary to explain this movie WITHOUT spoiling it! This was seriously one of the most confusing movies I had to sit through and what pisses me off is at the end you realize that the story wasn't worth getting that confused over in the first place when you just see the movie as a supernatrual story about twins with opposite personalities that wind up saving each other....basically the dark, edgy Hot Topic version of The Parent Trap. =\
And they've more or less treated Lindsey like a punching bag and she didn't deserve it. I think she is a decent actress but the combination of the a bad family life, predatory Hollywood and no one really there to help her resulted in a person who may never get the proper credit she deserves and this movie did not help. I don't blame her for it; the story was bad regardless and just oozes the pretentiousness of a hack writer trying to be deep yet making one of the most obnoixously confusing movies from the last 20 years.
    Edit: "She's dehydrated!"
    Later almost dies of appendicitis.
Okay, that was scary, especially when you consider how that can sneak up on even adults.
Edit 2: YOU KEPT THE OOGIE LOVE RINGTONE! Bless you....just....you stuck with it.

I don't like to say it, but this review was actually hard to sit through at points. The on-screen mutilations and torture-scenes in this movie are pretty graphic, and Lohan's acting makes it even more disturbing.
So I still agree with you on that - Lohan did not deserve that razzies, and any of the other movies were legitimately worse.

Something hit me whilst watching this video. I came to the realisation that ever since I found your channel about eight years ago, I have consistently gone back to it to rewatch old videos and to check out the new ones, and even in the most tiresome times of my life, I have always found comfort in them. I usually tend to cringe a bit when I rewatch anyone whom I'm a fan of's videos and see it was uploaded during an unhappy point in my life, but with your videos that's never the case. From September 2018 to May 2019 for example I was at a really miserable job and I subconsciously kinda associate any videos from other people during that time, but with your Inchon review for example, I always remember it as a highlight and source of comfort from that bad time. I feel like if it took a hour to break everything down slowly with added information, suspense, and backstory, it would be sooooo much better to build up the mystery! Wouldn’t mind even having the supernatural twin link thing if done cool and mysterious if given time to get there as each episode continues.

If you take out the psychic bond between the twins and add David Lynch as the director you may have a decent weird twisted murder mystery. I think the director was thinking that way but didn't have the talent or experience to pull it off. Hell if it's David Lynch you could even add the psychic link back in and he would find a way to do it convincingly. The movie sucks but if you want to be complimentary you could say that at least the director had pretty high aspirations. That's if you want to be complimentary.

My worst movie of 2007 is Norbit. One of the worst comedies ever made, Eddie Murphy’s worst film in my opinion and one of the worst films I’ve ever seen.
Also, that film was so bad. During the time of the films release, Eddie Murphy was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for Dreamgirls. He seemed like the front runner to win but lost to Alan Arkin for Little Miss Sunshine. It could because of how critically panned Norbit was decreased Murphy’s chances of winning an Oscar.

I think Sivertson might’ve also been inspired by Shyamalan’s use of RED coloring in The 6th Sense. However, just like Suspiria, Shyamalan knew to keep the color red to a subtle manner and it was used to indicate the presence of a ghost.
Interestingly, Creepshow also used vibrant shades of both red AND blue every time something terrifying occurred onscreen. The purpose of that type of lighting was to give the movie a comic book vibe, as Creepshow was influenced by the old DC comics made back in the 50s; the movie even has page-turning dissolves to make it look like the movie is being told through a book (mostly because it IS being told through a book).
Moral of this story: Stop trying to imitate old classics. Modern filmmakers will NEVER be able to replicate the magic of classic cinema.

Actually some serial killers have been known to speed up their “cooling off” period between murders when they become too comfortable, the “thrill” wears off faster, etc. so it’s not exactly unheard of that the serial killer would have more victims in a span of a week.
There has been serial killers who wait days, weeks, months, or in rarer cases years between kills. And then there are some who kidnap and kill their next victim as soon as they have one set in their sights.

    • @MazTheOriginalGod
      @MazTheOriginalGod 3 роки тому

I mean, I am not against an idea of such twins existance, but that would require the movie to set some rules for them and I doubt this movie did it. Like, if they were growing in two drastically different households what did it do to them? Like, if one was malnourished and the other well-fed, would that make both well-fed or malnourished? Or if one of them was home playing piano all day while another one was running outside through thorny bushes and poison ivy and both got the same scratches and irritation and the rich parents would think that she hurts herself and denies it or something.
Also I, for some reason, was surprised to see Neal McDonough here.

Sure, someone might want a fancy hand that can grasp things, but modern prosthetic legs don't have any electronics in them whatsoever and people walk around on them just fine. Come to think of it: what are the electronics even powering? Prosthetic legs are basically fancy peg legs, if the leg went "dead," it would work exactly the same!
