Moving Into The Van! Packing the van for the first time Plus Hooking up my Jackery Van Build Series
I was eager to move into the van, but It didn't go as planned. I started way too late and ran out of time. I was happy to hit the road, but didn't even have time to get settled before my first miles.
Thank you for following along in the Ford Transit van build series! Up Next I'll give the full van tour!
I had a blast with this self converted Ford Transit series. Be sure to check out the full playlist for more details!

My goal for 2021 is to visit every National Park in the United States. I'm starting by converting a cargo van into a place to live on the road. Follow along as I take on #vanlife and raod trip across the US.
In early 2020 I quit my job to travel full time. I started a blog as a way to share the story of my journey and aspirations as a solo female traveler. Check it out at lauraonthemove.com

Full hookup sites were $36 per night and tent sites were $14 when I stayed in April of 2021. Updated pricing will come up as you're booking.
Arkansas truly is the Natural State.
It's full of surprises that's for sure!
That's a hook for a lantern, just fyi. Thanks so much for the tour!
Thanks!! I was hoping some would pull in an answer.
We were in campsite 30 last fall. Loved it! Going back hopefully again this fall. Safe travels Laura!
It was so peaceful there. I would happily stay again next time I go back!
This is so great of you to share. Hope to be there in September.
You’ll have a great time! I remember just wanting to know what everything looked like before I went. Happy it was helpful!
great job on the video!
Thanks!!
Do you remember if there was decent cell service in the campground?
I think it was spotty but if you move around the camp site you’ll be able to find it! They also have free wifi at the visitor center
@@LauraOnTheMove Thank you so much for replying!
So my question is....if I went and “camped “, like in my Suburban and just car camped, would I be considered a camper, or tent camping (without a tent)? I wouldn’t need the hookups that an RV would use. Just want to have use of the restroom......
Well the official answer would likely be to get a full site, but I can't say anyone would notice and I admit the thought crossed my mind too 😅
I travel and sleep in my van but carry a small instant pop up tent with me. That way I can stay in the tent area. I don’t announce that I am sleeping in my van.
@@joycenuckels2773 great plan!
