It is incredible how Garbage remake their own songs at an even higher level than the original.Eric Avery brings a whole new bass dimension ! High range vocals close to the end of the song make it flawless and epic, this is glorious.Please keep on being amazing, Garbage !

What a brilliant song! I love playing along to it (guitar), not difficult, but ya just get that feeling ya know, serene, calming and exciting and sad at the same time. That's what I feel anyway, love it! I'm even getting to know all the lyrics, but don't worry I won't be singing it, the only one who could sing this so beautifully is Shirley.

I don't think this was a mistake. garbage might have been concepted as a response to the whole "garage" band phenom. Ultra studio counteracts grunge. etc etc.

Garbage ha cumplido ya su vigésimo aniversario, ahora regresan para reivindicar su propuesta actualizada, su sexto disco "Strange little birds" es más oscuro y experimental, de lo mejor que han editado. El productor y músico Butch Vig y la cantante Shirley Manson muestran las uñas, porque si hay medios tiempos con tensión melódica como en el caso de "Even through our love is doomed", aquí lo que realmente destacan son los temas con músuculo y guitarras desbordadas como "Blackout", "Empty" o "So we can stay alive". Sus habituales muros de sonido también les han llevado en esta ocasión a experimentar con la electrónica: "I f i lost you" o "Magnetized" son buena muestra de esos ambientes casi industriales. Sin duda éste es su disco más oscuro, tal vez buscando su rostro más alternativo.

+MonkyMonk729 Yes, it's him. He plays bass for Garbage for years but he is not officially in the band. I read his tweets about recording some tracks for new Garbage album, I am not sure if he recorded all of them

Like chards of glass am addicted to this band again.I can't get enough of there music,I lived in Wisconsin and it's hard to believe a band of this caliber is out of this state.Im not nocking Wisconsin it's a beautiful state and so is Shirley.Please forgive me for my bullshit but I'm really high and listening to Garbage and loving every second of Shirley s beautiful voice!!!!!!

Just Perfect. Mélodique, simple, statique, jubilatoire et anxiogène. Basse et guitares angoissantes comme une virée nocturne de Jack The Ripper dans les ruelles de Londres en 1888. À écouter à fond en boucle dix fois de suite pour se laver de la bêtise ambiante. À rapprocher de l'énorme « Never Here » d'Elastica.
