Certain enemies on this stage occasionally go "fuck that roadblock" if they are close when it's deployed and go straight through even though it wasn't blocking them. I get the impression that the stage uses a different pathing logic for certain enemies because they neither have check points nor take the shortest path to the blue box.
They don't use checkpoints in here? I thought it had to do with having too many enemies in combination with the gimmicks at a time and maybe their pathing wasn't updated in time
Think something special was cooked up so you can have a roadblock stage with so many holes. If you block enemies near the whole under a certain angle they will all fall straight into the hole when they get blocked. This is countered by a few enemies first pathing to the center of the tile and then turning, but they don't actually have checkpoints on the tile. Haven't experimented yet so this is just my observation and assumptions from the humus solo.
Yeah I saw this a lot when trying to perform 夏河三千露's MN-EX-6 Blemi solo myself. That clear also features a ton of enemies on screen at once and I failed a lot of attempts due to getting screwed by pathing (but it wasn't consistent which enemies did it each time). It's probably that enemy pathing only checks for an update every so many frames, and that number gets increased the more enemies are spawned in at once to prevent lag from the ever increasing calls, so sometimes you get screwed by the check changing from every 2 frames to every 10 frames and the one fucker who needed to update immediately was the one who was checked the frame before you removed the road block The only remotely consistent one was the map phase 1 blood boil knight when he starts turning the corner just refused to ever acknowledge the roadblock
@ huh interesting. I've never noticed it on that map Maybe it's because the mobs on this map move extremely quickly (some of them also have unique pathing that's possibly unrelated to the roadblock trolling)
@@Dustfired Oh yeah, he did. So this makes the guy in this video smarter than that guy but tbf, grabbing a motorboat was a smart decision until operators got deployed
0:05 Def my favorite part of the video. Such a glorious win. Man, wouldn't it be funny for random enemies to have a bonus hidden stat. ... ... Would an Arknights mode were stages have some rng pathing or enemy presence you'd adapt to in-stage make sense? Or even, smart/special enemies by behavior? ... hmm. Thanks for the random thoughts, anyways.
I've actually seen this happen before with a different enemy, but I can't remember who it was (no I'm not talking Phantom in IS2) I tried placing down a block right next to an enemy and they were like "lol screw your roadblock" and destroyed it. I genuinely wish I could remember which enemy it was
Even if you did put the roadblock when there's no enemy at the bottom right tile, the enemy also will break the roadblock i suppose it because that's where their checkpoint is before they just chill there
Depends on the usage. La Pluma focuses more on pure DPS while Humus is more on def/survival. Fun AoE physical for me to deal with horde is Siege + Liskarm + Warfarin. Infinite spin
@@D-A52 My Pluma is E2 LVL 20 M0(7) (No Module) and she just seems to melt if I try and have her lanehold. My three other laneholders are Thorns, Kazemaru, and Cutter. Thorn's niche is self-heal and drones with S3, Kazemaru's is nuking hordes with S2 and psuedo invincibility, Cutter's is shredding elite enemies at range with S1 and is able to cover occasional drones as well. Pluma just seems to not be able to come close to competing with any of these. She gets melted by any ranged enemy, she gets melted by elites, she can't receive burst healing outside of specific exceptions like Bards. Her S2 gives her a 70% attack boost, but when you compare that to Cutter's x4 projectiles that each do 340% damage it's clear that Cutter is a lot better for melting armor. Is Pluma only worth it maxed? Or is she just super niche?
@ I'd like more specific information on what you use her for. As I would really like to user her. (incentivized by summer skin) Unfortunately, the only threatening mobs in the game are ranged and elite, not trash mobs, so if that's all she can do she's of no worth to me. Kazemaru nukes trash mobs for thousands of arts damage, so I got that part covered. I could also just Manticore who is far more survivable than Pluma and also has the added benefit of slowing units. I've tried using her in IS, she drops dead. If I try and use her in general content she either leaks or drops dies as well. What exactly do you use her for? 😅
@ You drop her, she self heals and does AOE damage. She can kill far far more trash than almost any other non 6* original comment asked for AOE damage. Why are you talking about elites now? If you want an operator that kills everything build a 6*
they thought they were going to grind him down with numbers
I am coming at him like that
real
what a day
they even bet a car on it
Grin me Daddy

yeah i noticed that pretty hard
Average car repairsman Walter tells you not to worry about.
He might be smarter than that one enemy in that one Dosolles Holiday tutorial stage that just straight up left
@averagemythosenjoyer He came back with a motorboat anyway.
@@Dustfired Oh yeah, he did.
So this makes the guy in this video smarter than that guy
but tbf, grabbing a motorboat was a smart decision until operators got deployed
"You think you can grind me down with numbers?" He asked, grinding away a hundred something enemies
Lore Accurate Humus.
He's the protagonist with cheat powers
He can see everything's HP and saw the roadblock's tiny 100 HP
Nowaying, someone actually beat the *7 operator The Roadblock
"A huge wave of zombies are approaching"
I can just imagine this line popping up
They Are Billions
i think this is a great showcase of silvergun quote-on-quote "not bothering to do roadblock stages". just like that theresa stage.
Humus: "My body is a machine that turns enemies into +60 hp!"
Hummussy sweep
bastion ost hit me so hard. so nostalgia
that one npc really said: "Screw your mechanics, get rekt!"
This is on par with the jetpack enemies in the Icebreaker Games tutorial who landed right next to the blue box
These enemies never cease to make me laugh when they run
they came at him like that, they truly couldnt blame him for what happens next
Too impressed by Humus EN VA to notice anything else, give that man a raise.
That Cartoonish Enemy Run is always get me...
man it would be fun to just have all the reapers on the side and just turning the whole middle lane into a long horizontal blender
I struggled a bit more on this stage than i should have. I got overconfident and thought i could deal with the crazy rushes lol. Though i did beat it.
reedalter goes crazy on this stages
Should have used Logos S1, instead of S3. (T_T) I had to retry quite few times. Also, those snake things hit really hard!
the stage of all time
3:53
*DOOM music kicks in*
absolute massacre
yeah, this stage made me feel iffy the moment I put roadblocks down beside the idle mob and they started to twitch 🤨
I was legit confused, why the fuck the first ex stage is so hard? Turns out there's roadblock lol, and didn't see shit

Had some ideas for Aroma, but everything i discovered is that you can't place trapmaster's trap on the gem. Tile is occupied by enemy BS ig.
Remember from the Estelle video: in this event the floor is made of enemies
HUMUS GAMING WOOOOOOOOOOOO
Hummus is my current fav 4 star to use in most stages

God help us, AI has finally gained sentience and this proves they will soon begin overtaking the world.
That one guy who stops the sheep mindset:
this stage gets really funny with gladiia's S3
Bro: Oh, Hell Nah, i'm not going through all that!
I tried to place a block on the top middle tile and it got broken 3 times in the same clear
Didnt realize the stage had roadblocks to just tried beating it like three times without them. Eventually succeded wahoo
i saw this map and thought: *Aight some puller action time*
reality all i did was to test how Weedy S2 can solo this stage
Even if you did put the roadblock when there's no enemy at the bottom right tile, the enemy also will break the roadblock i suppose it because that's where their checkpoint is before they just chill there
There is no checkpoint there
If I put it 0.5 second earlier they would simply turn around
Should i start building humus first or lapluma
pluma is outright better
Holy shit do I hear Darren Korb
bastion pog
Yooo Bastion OST
Imagine if this is how roadblocks worked and some enemies just had a slight chance to ignore them
Id cry
Massive
He just don care
Numbers his second name
Noice clear
Is it possible with laplume?
like
obviously yes why is that a question :D
Is Humus better than La Pluma? If so I might build him, I'm just looking for a fun non-6* AOE physical damage unit to use.
