your everyday trash she was the best! Some of the other artists were seriously so unprofessional. How awful would it be to have an artist cuss and complain about you in front of your before they start working on you?

Imagine that after botching the last tree of life, he learned from that and improved, and then came back and blew this tree of life out of the park? How happy the judges would have been? Instead he went an easier route, and god damn, the name of the game is to prove you are an "Ink MASTER".

isabelle Oh my god literally same, today I did a presentation for a school club I’m in called Kick Butts Day and we were talking to elementary and middle school kids about the danger of smoking cigarettes and my job was tell them some of the dangerous chemicals in cigarettes and tell them the same household products they were found in, and watching this was horrfiying😂

I appreciate team peck deliberately not giving the people getting the tattoos artists that would struggle to do what they wanted. Instead of focusing on the 'game' of the show they focused on the people, the real human beings getting a permanent image inked on them and making sure they had the best tattoo possible.

I hated how much they went in on Kelly. she was one of the ONLY artists who treated her canvas with respect and her tattoo was phenomenal for what she had to do. she could NOT tattoo super xlose or super heavy near the stoma bevause if you fuck with that you can kill the person. that's how they breath now. she did an amazing job with one of the hardest canvases there and it's a shame they didnt seem,to see that in her critique. also, I hate that they critique with the canvases there. like, these are importsnt pieces and people who were happy walking out may not be able to now not see the criticisms and grow to resent the piece and the artist where they wouldnt have before

Yeah it’s like they do nt realize she can’t tattoo right up to the edges of his stoma. There needs to be space between it. Someone in the comments said that she got the easiest one and I disagree. Hers was the most risky because she genuinely could have killed him if she didn’t do it right. The tattoos were difficult for everyone else but not as significant as this

It did look really cool, but I think it could've been done better. It doesn't look like a black hole, to me it looks as if there was a galaxy tattoo on his throat before he had surgery and parts of the tattoo were removed because of it. It's still a good tattoo tho

I felt like Kelly was one of the only respectful artists, she was very kind and compassionate! (not all of the artists were rude, BUT a good portion were) like show some respect! These people just want some quality tattoos, stop whispering behind their backs about their scars.

It was a damn shitty behavior. Even though those canvas people are volunteers or whatever, they are still clients whom they are giving a permanent tattoo. I personally would hate getting tattooed by someone who´s first impression was "an asshole" and who whispered about something I´m self concious of right in front of me.

kelly literally had the best tattoo out of all of them, it’s not even the canvases fault.
I'm kinda surprised the judges came down so hard on Kelly I actually loved her tattoo and thought it looked great... she also was pretty much the only one(maybe bc of the editing) that was determined to give the best tattoo and help them recover.
The girl with the aqua hair had the best attitude about it. She saw this as an opportunity to help someone with a scar feel better about their body. Everyone else was just whining and bitching.

I feel kind of sorry for the guy with the throat cancer. He is actually really, really cute, seems sweet, and has a cute smile too. They didn't really say a while lot of mean things about the tattoo but the guy who made a comment about it looking like a space jellyfish and saying, "No way is she going to win." really pissed me off. Its more than just a fucking competition and you shouldn't insult the poor guy's tattoo like that when knowing that he was getting it because he wanted to get something to help him feel positive and feel better about his self image and the fact that he has stage 4 terminal lung cancer. I mean, its just fucked up.

I started smoking when i was 12, and smoked for 14 years. I always had this idea that "it wouldn't have negative consequences until i was 50" Than i grew up a little and realized 50 is not very old, and i definitely want to be healthy when i get there. It's amazing how harsh my coughing and wheezing was at 26, my chest pains, etc.. Anyway i haven't smoked in about a year now (don't really keep track anymore) i'm amazed at just how much healing happened and how i don't cough anymore. I also have a family history of cancer so here's hoping i quit in time!

i am pretty sure they weren't saying the scars in themselves were scary. they most likely meant tattooing over that particular scar or sensitive area is scary. not many tattoo artists in general are comfortable tattooing over scars because it is very painful for the client and can easily go wrong
You guys have to understand... a show is not just filmed and then pasted together. This is all down to editing, and whoever are the editors for the show included those lines to express how their task to work with these canvases is hard
You probably don't know anything about tattooing.
It is undeniably scary to tattoo on scar, every skin reacts differently, but its 10 times more unpredictable to work on a scar.
Also, the dude was not even talking about a scar, but an actual hole, and if you're not 10 generation deep in inbreding, you can understand why its hard even from an artistic standpoint to work around that.

I think she should've expanded the space tattoo on his neck a little more. Maybe let it fade instead of cutting it off. And maybe add a little more deeper shades towards the hole in his neck like dark blue or even black with some stars to even it out. Other than that I think the color blend was amazing and everyone did a great job.

It makes me really sad how all the artists are so disgusted by these people, they’re people who have been through a lot, treat them like people, not ugly sacks of grossness. They’re beautiful, like everyone else.
They're also people who did this to themselves, people have a right to voice out their opinion even if it may not be what you think is right. There's a difference between hate and free speech.
Surely hate speech is part of a bigger concept called free speech though, they are not two separate things.
I'm not sure the artists are disgusted by the people, I think they are impacted by the severity of their conditions all brought on by something as common place as smoking. It's not the person they are reacting to but the aggression with which cancer can affect us all.

He probably smoked like 3 to 4 packs a day.. maybe more.. Now I'm not proud for smoking but I'm 22 and had no problems but I'm trying to quit cause I've got a kid on the way and I don't want that slight chance of something happening then have my kid left without a father.. seen it happen to friends of mine and its hard to see someone you grew up with die in their very early 20s because of smoking.. I know I don't know you from jack (figure of speech) but please, even if things get tough do not start smoking cause it is hard to give up and even 5 to 6hrs without one could make you snap at the slightest thing cause of the nicotine crave.. it puts most people on edge.
Before you say "oh why did you start smoking if that's the way you feel about it" well where do I begin 1) I was a very angry teenager at the time and at that time cigarettes calmed me down alot and 2) Well.. I grew up in a smokers household and (this part is probably just propaganda to get people to stop smoking) smokers' children are more likely to start themselves so I guess that was a big factor too

I would have never let anyone who didn't want to tattoo my body be forced to do it.Its like a dead tattoo with no passion into it and it's a high risk for them to screw it up too.
im so concerned if the people get their tattoos finished later by the same artists since they cut them off and evaluate after a certain time

I really appreciate that they gave people the ones they thought could give them good tattoos and matched them because they knew this was extremely important. They tried to put drama aside and the other team didn’t seem to fully reciprocate that idea
