Reason difficult to swallow=to accept, to understand, is to devaluate what you regard currently as highly important.
Its like finding out all the kids you love dearly and gave birth to are worthless such as if they were not people but robots or rocks, and you were tricked the whole time.
What would you then do? Obviously you would toss the rocks in the river or roadside, and have a good cry and perhaps a good laugh too.

Preliminal - the soul is only a small part of the spirit, like a branch is only one part of a tree, or a wave is a small part of the ocean. The spirit decides what to work on, based on accumulated reincarnative lessons still to learn. It dispatches a part of itself called the soul to live a particular life. It watches over the soul and when the karmic thread wrapped around the soul runs out, the soul returns to the vibrational world to share lessons learned with the spirit. The spirit reveals this to God and decisions are made as to what to experience next, based on how much the soul can be reorganized under a new personal life to go back into the 3rd dimension. These are always individual decisions based on how tired the soul is, how dynamic, what they died of, etc. Karma can be burned during a particularly bad death. So analysis is necessary. i really like to know the difference between the soul and the spirit
The spirit is like water and the soul the waves.The Spirit is free from Karma but the Soul is attached to Karma ie the body's 'wishes and Will ' still remain as desire.

... when an individual soul leaves the body, do they become aware of their true original mind and form as we are in our genuine form in the spirit world? my understanding so far is that earth nature is a sub-reality that is very unpleasant compared to the orginal reality source that everyone lived within before being sent to experience the human form

The Infinite Way describes the divine state of consciousness in the same way. Essentially we each are individual experiences of one consciousness. Everything, animate & so - called inanimate arise from the same consciousness. Therefore all has “spirit” or is infused with consciousness. In this way, it is possible to “fix” my truck with conscious awareness rather than going to a mechanic. That seems miraculous, but on that level of awareness it is simply how it works.

Regarding the experience of deep sleep and awareness....Last night my body did work apparently like a robot , I didn’t experience it, I didn’t record it...I don’t remember how I took off my woolen jacket, can this be possible? Separate awareness experience from the body?

If you can follow well enough to understand what is it, that you are not. That is, not some finite (I.e. bounded object) unchanging thing within your body, then what remains for possibilities?
If not finite then Infinite. Consider carefully since there is no arguing with math and logic.
If not heads then .........only one choice .......you guessed it, tails. (Who said "edge"? Dont be a smartass)
If not a slice of the pizza, then what pizza options remain? If you say "2 slices" then ill cut the next pizza in two before asking again.
If you are pizza, you're either a slice or the whole thing.
Part or all, no other choices.
Whatever it is you really are, if it's not an unchanging thing strictly inside you inside your body, then it's an unchanging thing elsewhere.
But you know that over the years the alleged inner you has appeared to certainly change, isn't that right.
