I want the kind of friendship that Fry has with Laurie where they spend Christmas together, and then hugh picks up the vacuum to give the carpets a hoover coz the Prince of Wales is coming over. #FriendshipGoals
I want you to do all the home grown old timers, like Hugh Laurie, Rowan Atkinson , John Cleese... etc I know there's not a lot of content but together it could make a great video
haha he's definitely a bit of an arrogant douche. He did apparently have his first joint when he was like 9 years old though so he's probably quite fucked in the head. he's likeable enough though meh
Thanks a lot for doing this. I want to give you a hug but considering the current situation and the fact that we might be miles away. I will just like and Post a comment.
7:02 When GN starts to ask for the story of "christmas in Norfolk", SF starts reacting b4 norton has said what he's asking about. You can tell how pre-arranged that bit was. Fry knew exactly what question was coming.
Yes, this is how the majority of talk shows work. They discuss with guests beforehand suitable questions or if they’ve any stories to talk about that are interesting or funny. (You will often hear celebs telling the same story on multiple talk shows when they’re promoting something. Eg lady gaga and her Bradley Cooper pasta story for A star is born) It’s not scripted per se, but Graham does loosely know what he’s going to talk about with guests. (There’s freestyle chat too.) You can spot prompts or segueways in many videos. Celebs are good at performing so will try to make it seem natural and seamless when they’re prompted but sometimes it’s very obvious. Another example is at the end where Graham asks about the parrots - he already knows that he owns parrots and has an anecdote. This is a straight forward question of course so it’s easy to spot, but it just shows that they discuss things pre-show and Graham has the information beforehand.
@@Phantom-hy2ix "I'm a slut" was referring to the fact there were so many famous people mentioned in the book. The think he assumed GN was going to say was what he actually said, which he wouldn't have guessed if it hadn't been prepared b4.
I mean when were aired the original episodes appearing in your compilation. I just wonder around what year, just to have an idea when it was, in Stephen's life. I guess I can know for the episode with Bill, because of the publishing date of Stephen's bio... I wonder for the other one.
Steven Fry a true national treasure
No, no ,no he isn't a national treasure he is an INTERNATIONAL treasure
World treasure.
World treasure.
Always a pleasure to watch this magnificent human being just talk

SFry says John Sessions and Rowan Atkinson were also there. Quite the holiday.
I love Stephen with all my heart

Thanks so much, it was at the top of my list of compilations I was hoping you would make.

@@DeniseF Thanx! You do amazing work and your videos have a real professional quality, you've got a fanboy here 🙈
Have you ever thought one of guests you did a compilation of, was lurking in the comments on the video of him/her? LMAO
Christmas in Norfolk was a triumphant story! I was so happy for and proud of him!!!
Stephen and bill are such a great pairing
They should do a documentary together.

Some of those tweets. Wow; the internet has expanded so quickly in such a short time. Unreal.
I didn't know how badly I needed this! I didn't see it on my subscription list though 🤔
Adore Mr Fry. 😆😂
Downey looks like he is wondering why HE isn't the centre of attention !

You are projecting. It's gross
@@SaetiStrakur it's not projection, he is a little bit full of himself
taliwakka27 maybe , but he in no way shows it during that interview. He was witty , polite and courteous.
@@SaetiStrakur yeah you're right he's not being particularly cocky here but if you know him from other interviews you can see it in his expression
Another great video Denise !
Ladies and Gentlemen
Sir Steven Of Fry
Great fun! Thank you for sharing.
13:33 "quite a few???!" It was almost nobody! This must have been in the early days of Twitter. GN looks very young.

Ummm....no. Stephen was reacting to something he assumed Graham was going to say, hence why Stephen said that he's a slut. Watch it again ;)

He heard Christmas and it was a story that was in his book, it’s pretty easy to guess what story he was talking about

Wonder when this was taped? Would like to know when Stephen was this slim? :)
The title is a bit misleading...
😂😂😂

Katie who ?
was kinda random the way bill bailey ran up to receive a tail whipping to the head
"Oh, fuck off Rory!" must be the cry of every British celeb when another one they don't really know calls them.
16:45 Who's Buster?
Does anybody know which documentary the last clip was from?
It's called 'Last Chance To See'
@@DeniseF thank you. I've been trying to find it for ages.
Stephen Fry has more in common with Katie Price than he knows !
When were these aired?
It wasn't. I made this compilation

As someone from Taiwan, I can only say sorry for that garbage.
Not your fault. It will probably sell better here than in Taiwan, because alot of Brits have more money than brains 😁
Robert Duvall isn't easily entertained apparently. He didn't even smile once ffs.
Hilarious to look at his hostile expression during Stephen's sparkling stories.
