Nothing beats a good floppy paperback! Hardcover doesn't feel as comfortable in my hands. If I want to keep the book and display it, I'll buy it in hardcover. Otherwise, paperback. For traveling, I take my Kobo!
Nothing beats a beat down floppy paperback for me!
Bruh you can carry hardcover books for a long time
@@lightyagami1634. I meant that hardcovers aren't as comfortable in my hand when I'm actively reading. They're more bulky, heavy, and the dust jacket drives me nuts. I just take it off when I read. But if I'm traveling and taking books around, it's def my Kobo I take! I only get hardcovers from Book of the Month so I do still read them.
Which Kobo do you have? I like The Kindle Paperwhite, but it just doesn't feel right. I'm shopping around for another ereader!
Hardcover personally. Not for the looks , but because I feel more comfortable reading them
Depends on the book. Any book worthy of being in a collection should have a hardcover. How the hell do you read an audio book, that's like saying "tasting a movie", it's not the same thing.
How audio can be read?
I like hardcover because they last longer. 😂 I have a hard cover book from 1921. That thing has been put through the ringer but it’s still looking good. In the time we’ve had it I’ve gone through 3 copies of Jurassic Park (paper back) The covers got super messed up from taking them on and off the shelf all the time (Jurassic Park and it’s sequel are my favorite books)
At this stage of my life, it comes down to font size, and that tends to be hardcover. That said, a digital read is always a large print edition when you need it to be.
Listening to an audiobook does give me the “I read a book” feeling…
There are many kinds of paperback. And some are resistent af. It depends on the material and the design
hardcovers are only good for displaying and books are meant to be read
Hardcover are more comfortable to read with

Unbothered. Moisturized. Happy. In My Lane. Focused. Flourishing.
Hardcover for textbooks
Nah, the pain of taking a book out of your backpack and seeing it crunched to hell. Hardcover solves this
Love the "around the office" videos
Sleeveless hardcover with the design and summary right on there instead of a jacket>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Don't tell me she said listening to audiobooks is "reading"! 💀
Why isn’t it? Studies show that the brain goes through the same while physically reading or listening to an audiobook. Also, like, what about blind people that rely on them? Don’t they read? C’mon.
@@A.H._because it's listening, not reading.
☠️
That can't be right. To an extent I can see you try to envision things the same way yeah, but no way does it have the same effect on the brain.
You'll learn to read faster, pick out certain words and such, that's not the case with listening to an audiobook, you won't learn to read faster doing this.@@A.H._
@@TheRealJadednobody cares it's not a flex to read, as long as you consume the story that's all that matters
Hardcover is best, it is sturdier and will last a lot longer than a paperback version does.
Hardcover wasnt a thing when your ass was alive
Not really, there are many paperbacks with great quality.
@@dannyjorde2677 like DOAWK Rodrick Rules
@@dannyjorde2677 out of my library of books paperbacks have not held up as well.
@@ThethomasJefferson There are different types of paperbacks. I like to buy paperbacks with flaps, those have much better quality.
Literally everyone had valid reasons besides the second chick in black but I’m more of a hardcover myself
Audiobooks are not reading, you use different parts of your brain
I feel like it depends on how thicc the book is. If it’s chunky, hardcover. If it’s skinny, paperback
I love paperback because hardcovers sleeves move but I got a hardcover because my paperbacks were getting weird folds so I couldn’t read them all so I bought a hardcover and liked how it stays open without having to force it
Hardcover because its more flexible and that knock
Is So Satisfying
Only for Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Don't judge a book by its cover 😂
Nice one! Haha! 😂
I like hardcover becouse i can lay it down and it stays open when i read in bed :D
I’ve said it many times : audio books aren’t books, listening to a book isn’t the same as reading it
Yeah audiobooks are great but some times i feel asleep listening to that deep voice with perfect pitch and all 😅
Fun Fact: Never Judge a Book its cover😅
I’m a danger to myself and others. Hardcover if I’m collecting it. Kindle if I’m reading on the go.
"Read" an audiobook. Yeah. Ok.
Paperback! Hard cover is just so cumbersome and awkward to read! I got out of my way to buy paperback!
Paperback 1000% - I won’t buy a hardcover.
Paperback books for me❤
Is paperbook means hard copy only?

Like the last answer. Audio makes me calm while doing my thing❤
