The engineering that it took to get the point where you can have 4 cylinders running at 10,000 - 14,000 rpm for minutes on end is incredible. And they absolutely love it. Motorbike engines are the best engines ever
Mini race car power-plants with sequential transmissions...with a light enough car, Motorsport can be somewhat affordable mainly due to consumables (tires, brake pads, clutch packs, shocks) being less expensive. Also, your tow rig can be a pickup. The cross karts I’ve read about have liter bike engines...I wonder how a hayabusa stroker with 250 whp would be in one of these chassis?
One day I rode my ZX6R 636 for over 6 hours and it hardly ever went under 10,000 rpm. The valves were still in spec at 30,000 miles. They’re very well made engines.
Always wondered if the sequential shifter is always on the right hand side or in the UK or Japan do they produce them "Right hand drive" because they are used to shifting with the left... maybe just driver preference? Regardless, incredibly well done. Your caliber of driving is top tier and I have so much respect for you, your machine, and what you do. Great post!
Imagine one of the newer liter bikes with the quick shift application. Flawless and effortless shifting on high power motors. Would be awesome in one of these.
On Dirt Rally 2.0 this car is soooo much fun to drive (and quite challenging too, the handling is unique), I can't imagine how much more fun would be to throw it around a track IRL
@@tubbyrainbow111 if you have the time, skills, and parts bike, you can build one using online plans for I’d say around 3 grand. Just don’t skip on safety. Good bucket seat, 5 point harness, and good brakes
Been wanting this sport to happen since 20yrs ago (still have original version Hypersprint CAD plans here somewhere.... U dont need to speed vid up, its impressive as it is naturally.
About 35 grand starting, If only wanting one to practice and race friends could be built with the bare minimum for around 3 grand if you have a bike for parts. You can get chassis plans online. Just some time and welding. Just don’t skip cheap on two items (really 3) seat/ 5 point harness and the brakes. Hella fun to run fast not so easy to stop.

I don't disagree with you but it's easier to get a 1 liter engine to high RPM's than it is say a 1.6L or 2.0L.

That literally looks like the most fun thing ever!!
Best POV racing footage I’ve seen.
BIG thanks to all the viewers! today exceeded 100,000 impressions. Keep watching!
Dayum, not only this thing looks really fun to drive, but it sounds better than a formula 1!
at first i was scratching my head when you pulled on the shifter to put it into neutral. Then i remembered that its a bike gearbox. Awsome driveing!
It's a sequential gearbox, something a lot of racecars have
@@unoriginalname9556 no ,its a dogleg gearbox, motorcycles use them, it stops you from accidentally shifting into 1st and kabooming your engine
Kireenkuulone 🤩 pakko päästä tänävuonna ajaa tolle radalle näyttää komeelt
Omg!!!
JP
Cop pulls this guy over: "Do you know how fast you were going?" Driver: "The speedo said 0 kph, I swear!"
Yeah, would've been nice to see the speeds. I bet it hit 100 mph (160 kmh).
Looks insanely fun
And expensive :P
@@DanVi47 way less than most types of racing like rally cars.
Fun and very easy han ! 😂
@@jayknight139 Not really. Rally cars can be pretty cheap. These are generally more expensive to buy outright.
Daniil Vlasenko mony is the only happynes

Makes me want to tear down my R6 and build one :) You know how to get down dude!

Omg, Dirt 4 sounds just real life xd
This track is in dirt 4, Höljes ua-cam.com/video/DbM6R4F6Btg/v-deo.html
I like the high tech external kill device.
It's the simple things...
Very impressive, great driving.

I have rage quit so much bc of this vehicle (Ik skill issue)
Now THAT's how you spend a weekend... love it.
Oh heaven's sake that machine flies! I want to try this out looks super fun!
Absolutely phenomenal driving.
You may have just brought me outta my dirt/street bike retirement to run one of those.. looks like a blast
Where can I get started doing this I'm very interested in this type of racing
Thanks for the ride mate
Loved seeing the temp go up and down.
Wow, very clean line. Nice work!🤙🏻
800k views man, wow. Congrats. I see 1m. coming soon!
👍👍
Gear ratios are so close!! Does it makes any difference? haha
With 2 or 3 gears it would be the same :P
wife comes in the room see's me leaning left & right in my chair.. has to remind me i'm not actually driving. looks like a blast
Probably the safest racing
Well that was terrifying. A little one seater doing 14,000 RPM at who knows what speed around a dirt track. Absolutely terrifying
I love the in car sounds thanks again
i wanna see one of these do the Isle of Man TT
Travis Warner Why? No comparison at all
Powerplant looks nasty, you walked by that guy like he was stuck to a post
Wow that is so sick... I love it.... I need to build one of this...
Good to see they found a use for the Renault twizzy
Drifting/sliding is life.
Most excellent. Thanks for sharing
I want to build one of these. What motor/ gear box are you running?
wow :D how focused.awesome.
keep on. good luck!
have a save ride!
Great driving 👍
Damn, like Mario on the Momo. Nice wheel work.
These karts are insane.
Would love to try out for that shit!! Love it!
Looking for this kind of series in Aussie right now - bank account ready haha
Ya damn Aussies! Ur just like us Finns! Cheers mate.
Now this is what I call driving 👏🏾😎
This sounds better than current F1 cars lmao
Why does the speedometer readout not work? Awesome footage though!
Its not quite the same, but they added these cars to a Racing sim I love, AMS2, and they are hella fun even virtually!
Im in love, what price can a kart like this cost? simple one just to have fun

Can't get enough of that
Wow man, how could you drive this❤
If I could do this on the regular I wouldn't dislike so many aspects of ever day life.
The problem though, getting the chance to .
Can someone explain the "shadow" gauge on the tacho?
The thing with the massive delay in deceleration
OMG! Looks so fun ! Goals👌
That intense and I race sprint cars 😂
Talk about a get-away vehicle!
Se te corto la tripa del velocimetro, jaja. Hermosa maquina.
These look like Renault Twizy's with sportbike engines and a nice suspension haha
Wow Ripppppppin 💪 I'll have one soon I hope .
Che spettacolo!!!
Nämä teidän koneet pitää todellisuudessa niin paljon meteliä, että kuuluvat selvästi useamman kilometrin :D
This makes Formula 1 looks like child's play.
You take the steering wheel off to get into the car. But leave it on when getting out of the car. What sense does that make.?
What kind of digital dash cluster are you using?
Probably off the bike the motor came from
Why is your steering wheel working the wrong way?
What engine is in these 16,000rpm crosskarts?
The K2 orange ( 754 ) now ist my kart... 😎
I want one! Amazing power!
Que motor tiene amigo? Gsxr 1.000? El mismo que el midget
Как называется такая коробка передач?
The true meaning of "ON THE PIPE".....Love it
5 laps and a car wash. Nice
is it possible to find drawings of frames of these karts?
It hasen't even got to temperature, very probably is because it's without thermostat, but still, 83 degrees at the end of the lap is still too cold
So sick!
Crack!!!
Nice video
Is there a reason why you shift flat-footed?
why so many gears if you are going to skip 2:57 them?
More control?
How does one go about getting involved in a sport like this? Also will I need to take out a small loan from the bank to do so?
About 35 grand to buy a complete ready to go kart not including a place to practice and fuel, tires, and maintenance

Any of these have paddle shifting?
Most are built with street bike engines. Could be done with two cables and linkages but way more complex and more likely to have a failure

Pity about the defective speedometer....
We don’t seem to have these in England. Or at least not that Iv ever seen. Is this possibly just another reason we’re fucked without the EU?
