Arrested Development: Season 2, Episode 8 "Queen for a Day" Michael sells some company stock to purchase a car, unaware that the rest of the family has sold off their stock as well, and they lose control of the firm in the process.
Arrested Development is an American television sitcom created by Mitchell Hurwitz. The show follows the Bluths, a formerly wealthy dysfunctional family. It is presented in a serialized format, incorporating handheld camera work, voice-over narration, archival photos, and historical footage. The show maintains numerous running gags and catchphrases. Ron Howard serves as both an executive producer and the omniscient narrator and, in later seasons, appears in the show portraying a fictionalized version of himself.
The series received critical acclaim, six Primetime Emmy Awards, and one Golden Globe Award, and attracted a cult following. It has been named one of the greatest TV shows of all time by publications including Time, Entertainment Weekly, and IGN. It influenced later single-camera comedy series such as 30 Rock and Community.

Yeah Maeby is easily the most underrated character on the show. Probably because others like G.O.B and Tobias and Buster and Lucille and Lindsay and George Sr have so much more out there in your face generally noticable personalities and Michael and George Michael work more as the "straight man" characters but I still really liked most of the stuff with Maeby. and And granted she is used better then say the teenage girls in a Seth MacFarlane show but I do feel her cyncism yet naviety were very interesting and I am glad they gave her the whole movie producer storyline and actually kept with it for most of season 2 and 3.
@@DianaGohan i just felt sorry for her most of the time. She became a sociopath because she had the worst parents ever, she basically received no parenting from her parents
It was a love between two cousins that the world thought was wrong, but it was the world that was wrong...

@@agentr107 It's revealed (In S3, I think) that Lindsay was adopted by the Bluths meaning that Maeby and George-Michael aren't related. However in S5 it's revealed that Lindsay is actually the half sister of Lucille (I think; I only watched it once) which would make Maeby a "half first cousin once removed" to George-Michael which is the genetic equivalent of a second cousin. Second cousin relationships have been common throughout mankind's history and are genetically safe, however in western culture any tangible relation is considered taboo and I would have personally preferred if the show left Lindsay out of the Bluth gene pool.

The wink was a regular wink, which foreshadowed her being not related to the Bluths.
george sr scoffing at the screenplay is one of my favorite moments in the show
Let's be honest, cousins or not, the relationship these two had was more wholesome and non-toxic than anyone else on the show
What if we kissed to teach them a lesson about toxicity?

That was such a Three's Company moment. You know those easily explained misunderstandings that aren't explained until the show's last 5 minutes?
This is the misunderstanding that gave George Michael the courage to kiss her a little later on.

Well, only the first three seasons. The later ones were total garbage.
