Reichler, a renowned expert in public international law. Mr. Reichler, who represented the State of Palestine at the International Court of Justice, discussed the legal consequences of Israel's policies and practices in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem. He argued that Israel’s occupation violates international law by constituting an unlawful acquisition of territory by force, a clear breach of Article 2(4) of the UN Charter. Reichler highlighted that the prolonged and ongoing nature of the occupation, marked by annexation and enforced by military means, solidifies its illegality on the international stage.

As much as I hated having my heart kicked around all day and having nightmares all night, I’d rather have that than this decreased sensitivity.
