One of my best friends is a makeup artist who does weddings. She only takes pictures of the makeup. She might take a picture of the venue if it's really nice for her personal ig story. Not her business page lol. Once she gets paid she's out 😂. I know Cause I've hung out with her after weddings. There's no way she stayed later than 12-1pm

I used to be a makeup artist. I did weddings, Quinceñeras, and photo shoots. NEVER did I think it was ok for me to stay long after the appointment. Yes, there was times where they would offer food and drinks but as a professional you gotta keep it that way. I'm worried for this future generation who are using others for clout and don't know how to read the room. I feel so bad for the bridge and groom, this was their special moment and now it's all over the internet. And she still doesn't get it and all I hear is, "This is who I am so deal with it." It's sad that people will do anything for exposure.

During the summer, I used to love doing outdoor group fitness. I stopped because people would stand around recording and taking photos of the class. This is sooo weird to me....haven't they seen people workout before. And what are they going to do with the footage. I took a yoga class years ago and periodically the company that ran the class will use a photo they secretly took of me as part of their advertisement. I never consented to any of it. Having people on their phones during class is disruptive, but instructors don't care. They are just hoping it will make them go viral.

First of all this lady needs to be PROFESSIONAL, you do makeup and hair, do that, get that content and leave. No tik toks when people are pressed for time to be ON TIME. Even if you are invited to the proceedings, decline, keep It crisp, maintain a Standard. Ask them to send you photos from their collection so you can post, with permission. It’s not rocket science.

But she ended up being a part of something that made her look unprofessional which sucks because you can tell she clearly LOVES what she does. I hope she learns from this and just moves forward. I call BS. A truly remorseful apology doesn’t have “buts” or justification. Or she’s has the IQ of room temperature. she’s trying to make amends with the internet. Which is impossible. When she should not be discussing the situation online period. They obviously are not social media people. Which may be do to their professional career. Now that my husband in a much higher tax bracket he doesn’t even have any social media. I only have a Facebook page that I rarely post on. I was the breadwinner for the first 10 years of my marriage. I am enjoying the very soft life he’s provided. I’m not going to risk my husband’s professional reputation over what I think is an innocent post.

I did some table cloth's for a clients wedding this sumner. (Im a seamstress) The thought never even ocurred to me that I would be invited to the actual wedding itself. I don't know those people like that. And I loooove having my own separate private life. Love my job to bits but its important for me at least to have my own personal time which is not mixed up with work. My life is my life. Work is work. They were kind enough to bring some wedding cake the next day

I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt but she seriously needs some professional mental help. The fact she's this oblivious to boundaries, lacks situational awareness, and social cues makes me think she might be neurodivergent to some extent. Or something happened in her formative years that she's yet to realize, as someone who is neurodivergent I think she might be too. That's something I feel like my mom would do and she's DEFINITELY on the spectrum, except my mom isn't that smart or functional enough to run a business for 5 years :P
