Why did they stop playing after 3.rd set?
Because truls already knew that after 3rd game he is not going to play in main qualifiers
Sunil answered it right. Omar already won 7 games in total and Truls can't outreank him in their group even if he won the last set/game. But despite that, Truls should've atleast tried and played his best for the fans who are rooting for him.

The new score system is foolish
It's kinda more challenging, it has its flaws and strengths. Althought this rule is just for the preliminaries to determine who is the top player in their group. Those who advanced will play best of 7.

You cant blame him though, the new scoring system is stupid
Immature and unprofessional attitude were displayed by Truls in the 4th game. This was disrespectful to his opponent and the audience. Sweden table tennis federation should penalize him for totally throwing games away in such a blatant way.
