- My first child. Our little boy was born on January 2, 2024. He has changed our lives in the most beautiful way. Birthing him was a profound and euphoric experience. As if it could not have gotten any more special, we got to take him home on our 8-year wedding anniversary.

Thanks for sharing your story of your and this long birth process. Though they try to make it as nice as possible for the birth giving mother, giving birth is a total unique experience for the mother.
Despite the long process I'm glad everything went well for him and for you.
What was the predicted birth date?
I feel very lucky to have had overall such a wonderful experience. January 18th.

WOW!! I've said it for decades now and will continue to do so for as long as I live: if us men were to give birth humanity would've been a lost cause after the first two or three babies! Another proof that the REAL strong and powerful gender isn't the male gender at all!
What a moving story. I totally get why you teared up a few times. Just listening had my eyes watering up as well. I'm happy for you that you had such a competent team of midwives and doctors at your side to help you and guide you through this experience.

I’m thankful I live in a country where I was able to have such a wonderful birth experience. Where midwives birth your baby I stead of doctors. Where you don’t need to go broke to have a child. Where I get the time to raise him to be a happy and healthy you. I’m very lucky.
