This is literally the best video and best advise I have ever seen on UA-cam. Thanks for that great interview and just letting eachother talk. Wonderful.

Excellent interview. One of the most interesting entrepreneurs on social media right now. The amount of money he has generated via simple yet highly valuable ideas is incredible and inspiring

Subscription fatigue is a real real thing. Imagine paying $20 per month for 10 services. That gets expensive fast and I really think it's reasonable to have a one time fee at times

Definitely, subscriptions should only be charged for services that continuously add more or spend money on you every month

Hosting, Infra and maintenance costs every month

That's true, and it's part of the reason why people CONSIDER paying, but you'll have to offer them something very valuable to WANT to pay ;)
From the business operator side, the recurring revenue approach is absolutely logical. But for a customer who has a lot of choice, it's just one of many options.

This is the important part. People want to see the value they constantly receive. Value nurturing -showing your customers what they get- is very important.
I like how Grammarly does this. Every month, they send an email telling me how many words they checked and how amazing my vocabulary is compared to everyone else. This is tapping right into customer psychology.

Agreed. I think one time fees are the wave of the future due to simplicity. Simplicity is king for converting an interested buyer

So true. One-time payment definitely removes barriers. For me, especially if there’s a high effort in setup or changing tools in the future (I don’t want to do that twice). This is what made me choose GoodNotes over Notability. It may not be for every business, but it’s worth thinking about for sure.
Also, I love the portfolio of small bets concept - I’ve been struggling with diversifying (also feeling guilty about it lol), will definitely look into it.

Good plan. The hardest part for me is knowing when to let go of something - but in a way, that's a good problem to have, as you HAVE something to let go of :)

Great work guys! Thanks so much Arvid & Daniel. You make people like me believe and dare to chase a dream. The best thing that happened to me since I dumped all social media and jumped on Twitter alone, was running into your content and strategically following it to forge my own journey.

The fundamental concept of building a portfolio of small bets is essentially risk management applied to entrepreneurship.

I feel like this guy thinks im using some kind of formula and is trying to replicate it and sell newsletters. Lol. Good for him, he's not necessarily wrong about his approaches. I am however not using a formula

I like the idea of small bets, not making a single business/idea your lover, your identity, your whole life! Historic example of Thomas Edison who invented & patented so many inventions & ideas including💡in his lifetime! 😮
