Do a how to build you’re own survival village - step by step guide. How to over come the obstacles of resource gathering, survival and terraforming.
Or, build something in the empty area to the left of the town. Maybe something to make the town even more unique like a ship building area or a sea fort to protect the harbour from invasion.

If you are having trouble getting enough dirt for double-dirt terraforming, why not switch to cobble-dirt terraforming? Cobble is infinitely renewable, and as the under-layer you won't even have to see it...unless you are doing cliffs, in which case you just swap out the visible bits.

When you just have a single layer of dirt, path blocks, being lower than a whole block, risk revealing the empty void when they are next to blocks that are higher in elevation and gravel will simply fall without something to put them under. Sure, this could be worked around by putting the second layer under only the necessary blocks after deciding where they go, but with larger terraforming projects, trying to get to the right block from the underside can become a serious hassle.

I think maybe you should have a series like this but also one with smaller projects and more talking through the build and more “lets play” kinda vibes. I really love seeing all the work you’re doing but I can only imagine how many more hours you have to put into these videos than a more chill “lets play” style video. I also enjoy feeling like we’re hanging out with you as you play which kind of gets lost as you tackle bigger projects!

Hey fWhip I have noticed that most of your videos recently have been massive builds that take HOURS to do. And they always look amazing and the builds are so impressive.
But I just wanna say that you don’t have to finish a massive build to get an ep out. I honestly sometime prefer it slowed down a bit and seeing the process and if I have to wait for 2 or 3 eps to see a massive build complete then that’s good too. I also just don’t want you to burn yourself out by feeling like each ep you HAVE to complete a new build that’s bigger than the last. Much love my guy ✌️

hi fwhip! i really enjoy your videos and builds and i just wanted to answer the question you asked: was it a good idea to build this all in one video? from a viewers pov. i think that the work that you put into creating, editing, and the overall production of your work is INCREDIBLE and i really admire your work ethic. the grind is amazing. however, from a big fan/casual minecraft player, the magnitude of builds growing in scale is moving from inspiring to unachievable in my own worlds. i began watching your channel to learn how to build better and i’ve improved my own creative thought process so much just by watching. i'm a fan of slower paced content (1-2 builds per episode, resource grinds, chores, and shenanigans) because it mimics my own gameplay and makes your content seem more relatable and achievable. for example, over a few hours with my friends i could build plan an area and build out a few structures and then have fun detailing them - the work isn’t daunting and watching people do something similar on a more skilled level inspires and motivates me to have fun! when i watch youtubers grind out huge projects, it’s really amazing and entertaining to see someone plan an execute a project with such determination, but i often think “oh, i’ll never be able to do that, since i'm just a casual player.” for example, this season i really loved your iron farm build because you walked the audience through structural decisions, block palette, lore, and detailing when it came to storytelling with the debris. when i watched that, i was thinking of ways i could include farms in my world that tied into the story i was making rather than being hidden underground or out in the open. i really like when you built the melon/pumpkin farm on the docks of the amplified world too, for the same reasons. i really liked the dockmaster and sail workshop builds in this vid, and i would really like to hear more about your decision making and decorating thought process. overall, i think evolving from smaller builds to large projects is a consequence of a growing channel and being a full-time youtuber. i think there are those of us, your viewers, who really enjoy seeing the scope of your grind and seeing huge swaths of progress on the map, but there are those of us who also enjoy learning from you and feel inspired by your work! all in all, i hope you enjoy making the content that you put out and that you’re taking care of yourself :) love you and your work, fwhip!

Hey Fwhip I’ve been loving the content and the builds have been nuts I was wondering if you have ever thought about doing a modded series? Seeing those builds with modded blocks and then maybe adding the mod wherein you can create npc’s that can code with some code would be sick just an idea keep it up man

I highly recommend you putting treecapitator to your minecraft as mod or datapack it will make chopin' trees much more faster. That will save you time.
Thanks for you vids they made me inspired to play again after my death (934 days of hardcore).

    That... was... awesome!
I''ve been a fan for a while now, not always watching all your videos, but occassionally.
The awe when we see the finished product, the inspiration you give the community, the relaxing fun we experience while watching it.
I do get jealeous and sometimes feel like I could never do this, but then remind myself you do this full time,
whereas I barely get an hour per day on average, so it wouldn't be realistic to expect the same results ^^
Having said that, people do tend to like my builds and perseverance for grinding/terraforming large areas, a lot of which was inspired by great youtubers such as you!

Great video. Wanted to let u know that the way you edited the parts where you cut super quickly between you placing one block to the next is really disorienting and kind of dizzying for me personally.

You should add a cementary. I like to put them in my worlds and i dont see many people doing it. Ironically it adds a lot of life to the village.

should have added fences to the dock with leads attached to an animal in the hull so it looked like they were actually tied up to the dock.
