The way fwhip plays is the best way to play Minecraft imo. He doesn’t care about efficiency or how fast or effective anything is (most of the time), but cares about making his own special world and having fun

I think the best thing about Minecraft is that the best way to play it varies from player to player. Some people love designing mega farms with crazy technical red stone, others like to make purely aesthetic stuff. It’s all great imo

28:15 I feel like a wheat field for the brewery makes a lot of sense. You already have the potatoes, and the vineyard and I just feel like with grapes, wheat has to be one of the more infamous materials used to make alcoholic beverages.

I've done three (all with separate friends) and each trial chamber feels unique, you learn the rooms they use, but it is never the same mobs, which makes each space uniquely challenging. One time you might get a room with three baby zombie spawners, another time you might get bogged and silverfish, they went all out for this update.
I love how much dedication you put into every project in this world, it motivates and inspires me to build in my own world❤
How about a Ship for the cartographers ? Like a unique explorer/adventure ship ?
I could picture a smallish steam ship with these “wheels” on each side of the ship that act as rotors.

I find it funny that I used to get my inspiration to build my own world in Minecraft and once I felt confident and learned how to shade and texture my builds and had a style I could call my own I got straight to work so I thank you fwhip for getting me to come out of the shell of builder insecurities so again thank you

The potions work best after you’ve already gone through the trial chamber without it, because it overwrites the cooldown and immediately starts up the ominous trial difficulty. That way you get both normal and ominous keys that you can then cash in for loot.

your way of building is soo unique and fascinating, near the cartographer's house it would be super amazing to see fantasy village with minecraft size houses from different animes/movies, houses from Howls Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Spirited Away just to name a few. With your building skills and imagination would make those builds take on the magic these films brought to a lot of people including me, I look forward to every video and coming videos
Have you thought about adding tidal caves under the cliff? Maybe even add a sea faring society or dwarven town inside?

I have an idea, but i can't really share it in discord because my little dumb self in middle school got myself banned from it in the first week i joined
Anyway, moving on from that topic, a cool idea would be to make another place that our favorite little cartographer can go to study. this would be a giant, ominous, slightly dystopian-looking mountain observatory on top of the giant mountain behind your cute village.
This would just add some sick lore to your world of maybe this cute village is actually abandoned by everyone except the cartographer who is rumored to be deranged but is actually quit the cute little wise old man just pursuing a new hobby of designing silverware! that would be so cool. to sell this you could also make all the other houses run down looking and barely hanging on to their eroded foundation.
I thought about this for like an hour after watching this, ironing out the holes so that it fit seamlessly with your world's fantasy theme and even adding intensity to the idea that this villager is supposed to be "a quirky individual" while giving plenty of room for some fun little easter eggs in between, so please don't disregard my idea over the fact that my little self got me banned.
I've been a follower for like close to the whole ride, i just haven't been a member for all that long, so i haven't been shouted out like at all, so that best way I thought i could get a shout out was if you could consider building something i suggest. you do not have to do anything for me if you want. I was just false hoping there. I recognize the struggle of recording and editing gaming content and keeping it entertaining, so i just want to get it out there, that the last thing i want is to sound forcing, or make you do anything that you don't want to do. have a nice rest of your day! :)

Seconded, I would be really bummed if the season just abruptly ended at some point, probably in the middle of a probably wonderful, and then unfinished project... I love the thing that Mogswamp is doing with seeing how long and how far he can play in the same world and make it his own, and this world I think would deserve that treatment as well, because I would watch this series as long as Fwhip is willing to make the videos for it 🩷🩷🩷

im inlove with how your detailing looks in this episode, i wasnt expecting this at all!! it feels like a big step from what youve built before, excluding last episode which was also lovely. lots of inspo from bdubs and jerm it seems!! love it
We did a trial chamber at my request for Father's Day. I'm the most proficient player in the family and not as good as you, so the challenge was pretty decent for us. One thing i will say is they cater more to group play than solo. That said, if you run though, clear all the spawners and _then_ drink your ominous potion, you get both experiences back to back, and that's a lot more fun. I think part of the reason you didn't find it too challenging is just your gear and skill level. For a lot of players, especially more casual ones, it's pretty well balanced, and finding several to see different layouts or mob combinations is definitely on my to do list! A ton of fun
I was a bit puzzled when I saw that the focus of this episode was on a singular villager profession, but WOW! The detail in just that ONE house was absolutely fantastic! There wasn’t a single boring wall or ceiling, and small intricacies were packed in everywhere! Not to mention the gorgeous cliffs and terraforming and I’m just like wow. Great job!
You should build some eucalyptus trees for the coastline!! Also it looks absolutely amazing the texturing is so incredible and the details of the little bird nests are adorable!!
Day 7,000. 1 Minecraft day (10 min day, 10 min night) is 20 minutes IRL. 20*7,000 = 140,000 minutes. 140K / 60 minutes = 2,333.33 hours IRL. If working 8 hours a day, 5 days a week = 2080 hours a year. So, as a FULL-TIME JOB, 7,000 Minecraft days = 58.3 weeks of full-time work

it’s crazy how much more i enjoyed this video then others. i feel like not having replay mod is so much better and just having updates like the og videos was so much better then the fast paced and crazy way videos usually are. i wish you would just keep it this way

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I think you can use water bottles to make mud from clay? Might help with your mud problem if you’re desperate. (It is a bit inefficient so it’s definitely a last resort)

I never knew that Cartographers sold maps to Trial Chambers I just flew far away and then once I was sure I was in new chunks and then went to -30 and strip mined until I ran into one which didn't take too long
They're a lot of fun and I'm so happy to finally get a new combat challenge, I've been just using Leather Armor and a bow on my current world and the Ominous Trials are great I actually came close to dying a few times, of course only using a Bow doesn't work on Breeze so I do have to break my Bow only self imposed rule

Fun fact: 7000 Minecraft days is almost as long as 100 IRL days (97 to be specific).
if you do the normal trial chamber you'll get normal trial keys, and then you can immediately drink the ominous bottle and start over with the ominous trial

I've always been cautious in leveling up too many cartographers, because they tend to crash the game when they try locating something that's way too far away.

I think you should add bandit hideouts and stolen wagons or abandoned structures into your world. You could also add medical facilities in cities and urban areas

By the way, I see you have fresh animations resource pack, it only works with optifine, I searched for optifine 1.21 for so long and I never found it, so how do you make it work? and if it's because of optifine how can I get it?
Fabric mods have alternatives for nearly every optifine feature that you can download and get fresh animations working :)
I noticed that you have a over world world tree and end world tree and no nerther world tree so I thought you could build a nerther world.tree to almost unit the 3 dimensions
