I don't care who is more popular, I've been listening to Purple almost every day for 40 years...
Wow
Appels or pears, can’t compere…both are to great and played so diffrent styles, Purple hade Jon Lord and Zeppelin hade Bonham, 2 so skilled talents doing it so great in each band.
Purple hade so much diffrent singers, Zeppelin didn’t move on when Plants voice got older.
But most say that the ”crossover” bettwen the to bands the album of ”Coverdale and Page” that came -93 is so underrated, it came under the grunge era, and got lost😏
David Coverdale still hade his great blues voice and Jimmy Page was so good, sad that they didn’t did more music togheter.
