Who says you shouldn’t have onions & celery in potato salad? We usually do onions, celery, and hard boiled eggs, with Mayo, mustard, sweet pickle relish, lots of salt, and pepper. We usually sprinkle the top with a thin layer of paprika, too!
I'm all for your recipe except celery and pepper. Lol Never have been a fan of celery, celery salt or pepper, I know I'm weird....but you can always add those later.I 😃

My aunt used to add butter to her hot potatoes after she drained them. It makes the potatoes much richer. Which we like. I have always added eggs to my potato salad. I also add olives. I use green onions instead of a regular onion. I use seasoned salt with my salad. So your recipe is not far off of mine. But I always make my recipes according to my families tastes as everyone should. There is no right or wrong recipe. Blessings to all!

Hi!! Your garden is so nice, our garden here in Tennessee is only producing tomatoes, corn, small watermelon and some squash. Its soo hard. We planted so much of each kind, like weird purple tomatoes, some types of corn and 5 types of squash. It's really rewarding when it actually provides real food!!🙂

Olive brand, a splash of vinegar (never thought of buttermilk, I might have to try that), a splash of mustard, yes onions, Miracle whip mayo, and yum!

I’m allergic to eggs so my potato salad is made without but I’ll make eggs on the side for hubby. I also add green onions and dill! However the sweet relish I’ve not seen before! Eggs in potato salad is really good! It seems very normal to me. That's the way I've always had it.
That's how I always ate potato salad, but we also added in black olives...yum!
My mother only used eggs in slices to decorate the top of the potato salad before serving it. Of course we always had deviled eggs on the side.

Most are self pollinating, so you only need one. I only have one and it's covered in figs!
