Thank you for that video! I was curious about the Cricut glue gun and I think I have also looked at the Surebonder cordless. Great comparisons! I don't use a glue gun a lot, but in my opinion I think I would choose the Surebonder. I like that it is truly cordless and the precision tip. That is great when working with small things.
Great comparison video!! Thank you for trying all the glue gun things. The length of the pull, the full pull puddle and the strings. Of all of these things, the length of the pull is important to me. I don't want to keep pressing and pressing the lever. I want a long pull. I also don't want it to shoot out to fast. I've ruined so many things when that happens. I find that my Surebonder does that. My full size Ryobi has more precision than any glue gun I've used but, it's pretty heavy with the battery pack attached and it has to be attached to work. So, I think I'll pass on the Cricut glue gun for now. Mainly because of the price. A mini glue gun shouldn't be $39.+. Especially if it's not cordless. That cord looks way too bulky for small projects. I don't like that it has no stand. That's important to me. I don't want it just laying on my table. I find the Gorilla glue works best in the surebonder. I would hate to lay the circut one on my mat as the side of it is so hot. I watched another review that no matter how gentle on the trigger she went the cricut one blobby. She couldn't get a light line of glue. It was always thick line.
I can definitely see that happening. Funny thing though, I took all my glue guns to an activity with our youth and the teenage girls all LOVED the Cricut one!
