The special forces of Cameroon BIR (Rapid Intervention Battalion, an army in the army) are the most formidable in sub-Saharan Africa, they have decimated the hard body of Boko Haram on its borders and in Nigerian territory. The Cameroonian army is the only army in Africa that has not ceded a single centimeter of its territory to Boko Haram and other extremist Islamist groups. Better, unlike President Goodluck of Nigeria who refused the right of pursuit in Nigerian territory to the Cameroonian army when Boko Haram had already captured more than 90% of Borno State,, the day after Bhuari's new president investiture ceremony, he traveled to Yaoundé to seek assistance from his counterpart and to personally grant special ops BIR access into Borno and Adamawa States in Nigeria. Boko Haram had routed the Nigerian army in these two states to the point of becoming an army that was threatening the whole northern Nigeria, Niger, Chad and Cameroon at the same time. By freeing BIR actions, in just 15 large-scale perpetration operations in Nigeria over 3 months, the Cameroon special forces BIR destroyed all Boko Haram rear large bases in Nigeria to the point of reducing Boko Haram to nothing more than terrorists using young girls for suicidal missions. the BIR handed over the territories formerly under the control of Boko Haram to the Nigerian army.

Again they successfully abducted and fled with a NAZI killer hidden in Argentina, suspected of killing Jews during the halocaust.
How many missions has Uganda carried out to warrant being even number 5?

@@ericmwenda6197 Uganda's military is quite 👌 good

So good
Kenya , Uganda and South Africa are among your top ten list and present in Democratic Republic of Congo. We in Africa know the special forces who can finish the job not those promoting western agenda
Abig respect to you for speaking e truth may God bless u
When Tanzania special forces were in Congo under UN MONUSCO flag they beated the m23 to submission in Congo. The irony is Tanzania didnt even make the list.
You were using UN logistics but also M23 was dealing with division inside. Are sure you can defeat them nowdays? M23 is advancing as if SADEC forces are civilian local self defendants@@Isynick
I trust maBDF❤❤❤❤ from Botswana❤❤❤❤❤
I was so surprised Cameroon is not amongst the top 3
Keep on deceiving yourself, Cameroon military that has poor equipment and has less than 60000 personnel
lol, this couldnt be farther from the truth, same way rumours had it that boko haram had recruitment training camps in cameroon
tunisia though enceciled by falling countries standed strong and beat daesh and all terror ceased in 2 years with a small but the most prfessional army in africa . gaddafi army was massive but failed saddam bashar etc Tunisia most valuable assest is its education and state institutions who are strong and the sense of the state is felt is everywhere ..Tunisia with egypt are states continiously since 3000 years so always the sense of belonging to state is there in opposition to countries made by colonizers
You are very correct.
This assessment is based on war or crime prone areas...the Zambia Army Special Forces should have made the list
As a fellow African citizen I take my hat off to each and every soldier in any military force. I hardly comment on anything but I'll be honest, as a SOUTH AFRICAN I was beginning to get a bit worried, questioning our country like wtf😂😂.. but I digress, all is well.. We made it😂😂🎉
😂😂same when I saw Tunisia repeating I was like Egypt taking 2nd and 1st place😂
Egypt has the best army and weapons in Africa. South Africa doesn't even come close to Egypt's army in terms of weapons and war fought. Egypt is America of Africa: all the good weapons America have they got it too. Imagine fighting a war with a strong military like Israel.
Same Here I was patiently waiting to see where is SA
Mmmmh,,,, Egypt has the best army???????..... Dare KENYA..... U will came to realize that our KDF consumes your egypt army as the break first.... Mind your mouth please

I find it very hard to believe that unit 777 is better than the South African Recce's. The success record for unit 777 isn't great conoared to the recce's.
It is probably cuz 777 is being trained by US, and egypt is dealing with terror groups, so there is more than one way for 777 to improve
@megagamer9450
Lol South African special forces are also doing ALL the things that you just mentioned but with better track record.
@johnnyash3058 I don't mean any hate or showing off at all, i don't know about South Africa but, the Sinai peninsulah in egypt have experienced a lot of wars and conflicts, starting from a very long time, the British, israel and insurgent groups
I would say both are equal..
I mean Egypt is deffo the stronger force in whole military terms but I mean no disrespect when I say the Recces of the SADF would massacre any force they faced @@mega99999

I concur, their selective process is so intense that sometimes no one qualifies out of a group of recruits, some times one or 3 people qualify out of a large group, you have to be really special special to enter that squad, maybe the toughest selective process in the world.
@@ntobekonovukuza804 Yeah and they don’t compromise. If no one meets the requirements in the group. They don’t recruit at all.
Where have you placed Zimbabwe? Notable operations carried out. Never to be left out.
Haha😂 Zimbabwe does not have army
Zimbabwe they don't allow them to know their secret
Zimbabwe they don't allow them to know their secret

It's called SAS whatever it stands for.

Check the reports from international peace keeping missions where Zambian army and special forces have received countless awards for jobs well done.... in Sudan, and West Africa... and you will know why Zambian special forces can be the number one.
I like how people underestimate SANDF these days, it's mostly white South Africans. They are living in the past, unfortunately. One day they will know how powerful SANDF is…
Its because of the cuts in the defence budget but the army hides everything you will never find any vidoe of them flaunting weapons
They take SA for granted but one day they will find the truth
Kwera kwera first though😂
The Battle of Bangui has already proven that
Mostly whites 😂😂😂😂😂yohh u don’t know they ran after Apartheid . Chest pains shme
Zambia has one of the best soldiers in Africa.
I watched closely, and Rwanda and Angola should be in this top 10.
Ask the South africans what the Angolan specil forces have done to them.
The 27 years of operations and war experience, plus the interventions on DRC since 1998. And so on
Exactly Bro,,, no Rwandan army
You are talking about aparteit SA, SADF, not SANDF,
Rwanda??
Why do you Wana bring jokes here?

The best forces in on the continent of Africa were definitely operating in what's currently called Zimbabwe, but they were there back before 1980. Rhodesian SAS top notch special forces. Sad how far the country has fallen since then. The western world failed their Rhodesian brothers. Should have supported them to keep communism out. Now look what's become of the country
Agreed, and admire kenya army, south african irate forces

In Zambia we have only one commando by the name of Alex Mulyokela.
I read a story of the Zambian commandos when they were after a group of brothers that were terrorizing a village, i totally respect and take pride in that unit of the Zambian military. 🫡
Find out about recce from kenya, its one of the best in the world
How is Kenyan no 9 yet they have done more missions than any other army in Africa
Sure Kenya has always been boots on ground as compared to many
Curious too
Am surprised that Angola's special forces are not amongst the top 10 in Africa.
Where is angola in Africa.. Lol I thought it's a village in kenya
If all these units were put into one Africa would have the best, we need to work on this guys.United States of Africa.
This would have happened in the Gaddafi times

100% agree with you, Africa lets unite🙏🙏
This list is based on one's unresearched opinion. The Zambian Special Forces Unit popularly known as Commandos is proved beyond measure.
in my opinion the best special force in Africa are 1. Egypt 2. South Africa, 3. Nigeria, 4. Morocco, 5. Algeria 6. Ethiopia, 7. Rwanda, 8. Kenya. based on what each SF has done in the past and experience.
What is your source or criteria?
You are really a joker when you involve Rwanda amongst the big boys.

Not a lot of ressarch went into this. The most battle tested unit is the Nigerian special forces under the army inteligence.😊
There wouldn't be such strong rebels in Nigeria, ordinary rebels they can't deal with, what would they do in a real war with another powerful country with powerful weapons.

Of course, anyone with the smallest ounce patriotism and national pride will rate their country highly and rightly so. I am not really sure what is meant by the "most feared" but if I take it to mean a well trained, effective, battle hardened and disciplined military, then Zimbabwe will be on that list and rank among the top African militaries. Units formed from the former Rhodesian SAS, Selous Scouts etc are among the best soldiers not in Africa but in the world. It may not be the best equipped military in Africa but those grunts will get the job done. I laughed when I read comments from people touting the skills of their militaries in training exercises!
This is accurate
