I've always thought of Charles as a villain who's been hiding in plain sight pretending to be a hero the whole time. He literally murdered people while he was recruiting the original X-Men.

That was the outcome from a previous life of Moira, the little girl is her 11th and most likely final life, which even Destiny said might not happen at all, so she got really lucky and almost as unlucky that time. Facebush Charles is letting her live hoping she'll do everything the same except to make the opposite decision that she made in that life because everything had gone perfectly up until her betrayal. That Charles is the one here, driven by anger and revenge because his dream was in his grasp and taken away by her selfishness. If the 11th version dies it's permanent, no more rebirths and resets.
Magneto warn storm Xavier is capable of a darker side than he let on
Storm caught on to it and end her friendship with Xavier

Heck even dr doom knew Charles will fail,he turn blind eye on beast killing and experimenting on innocent people this starts to add uo
I mean this is the guy who trafficked Sage into the country when she was a teenager, kept her in the basement to train for espionage whilst he was training the original 5 and sent her off to be a spy at the Hellfire club who was made to sleep with Sebastian shaw.
Xavier straight up killing is just that inch ahead.
She was too busy on Arrako. This was her biggest flaw. Trying to be in two places at once which both hold a tremendous amount of responsibility!

People who hate the character of Xavier, given the power to write stories for him and use this to utterly ruin what he originally stood for. Marvel may as well have hired a bunch of hobos to come in and piss all over their office.
Agreed. They seem fond of deconstructing characters. Honestly, a lot of characters have acted out of character these last years.
@@carljensen333 Pretty much every heroic, selfless character now has to be remade into an evil, fundamentalist, murderous, creepy butcher, because screw the creator's original intent. And if you don't like it ... GET OVER IT NERD! It's just a comic book we get paid to ruin.
Maybe they’ll find a way to redeem him and show that everybody falls from their paths from time to time.
@@comicsicons It's a bit odd. Marvel deconstructed stalwart characters like Psyclops, Beast, and Xavier, even Dr Monroe, and these are heavy things that haunt future story archs. Meanwhile... mutants forgave the most heinous, mass murdering, villains that deserved human justice and accepted them as peers, even as they very predictably showed their true colors. Now Magneto is facing some sort of redemption arch like humanity should forgive him because he forgives himself, and of course OP, fan favorite Storm forgives him so readers should as well. Ugh. Writing has suffered. I have near 50 years of collecting under my belt and I have to blame writers and their editors for simply not being good enough, not coloring within the lines because they hate the lines to begin with. I'm barely holding on. I think we have another 3 years or so before quality and consistency become a priority again. I talk too much. Unfortunately, comics are one of my few hobbies.
@@carljensen333 I'm still waiting for someone to bring up how Gorgon kidnapped and murdered a little kid, the child of Wolverine's dead fiancé's cousin no less. Odd that Wolverine isn't a bit more ticked off about it, but I guess sometimes its just let bygones be bygones.
This issue made me so mad because if he was going to wimp out AND LET SINISTER DIE why on earth didn't he just kill Rachel before he went bothering mother r. With Selene and shaw ! Like omfg Xavier doesn't know if he is coming or going.
I guess this was apart of his backup plan if the Moira plan didn’t work.
JJ THIS IS A MOVIE!🥳🍿🎬 I think that weapon was the mutant gene eraser gun and was trying to take Morias power but taking Rachel out the game allows hit to control the resurrected phoenix 😮😅 this is a crazy title and one of the favorite x titles.
Yeah I do think maybe he’s trying to bring back the phoenix somehow with this move.
Yeah the Phoenix is gonna have to some back, considering the new "GODS" title
They brought back oblivion, and Enigma is apparently evil so count the Enigma force out lol The Beyonder/s and even the Elder Gods are moving... Phoenix has to play a part
@Mukazaki I like that idea you gotta factor in the "Johnathan Hickman" view of this whole thing(being his baby) it's a complex story so thinking outside the box is encouraged!🤔🤓🔎

Uh uh. Not everything is as it seems. Rachel is still an avatar of the very power of resurrection and life. All he did was force the Phoenix forces hand.

I always thought monitoring every mutants thoughts and location was creepy. And what with creating a private army of child soldiers? Never did trust Xavier.

Why is Xavier the villian? Moira only wants to wipe out all the humans and mutants to allow the AI biomechanical race to be the only ones left. Xavier is tying to correct the mistake of trusting Moira and creating the Krakoa refuge for mutant kind which sparks the civil war on Earth. Also, some of you already figured out that killing Rachel is the only way to send her to the White Hot Room and gain control of the Phoenix force if Jean is not able to. Great writing in my opinion. Rachel is in the previews for the new Xforce series, she survives some how and I believe that Xavier is imprisoned in the mansion after the reboot.
I actually think Xavier sacrifices himself somehow in the end.
I've heard of this arc, but I haven't read it. I originally though that Charles Xavier carried the philosophy of Martin Luther King Jr, and Magneto , the ideology of Malcom X. Why would they do this to a character that was, from my understanding, supposed to emulate a man that fought for equality for everyone, including his people. Now, he's nothing more then a thug. WTAF! Help me understand this, please.
With magneto seeming to now make a change maybe it’ll show that everyone has a breaking point but maybe he’ll get a chance to be redeemed.

Xavier has always been a villain and reed Richard’s too. You must be new. Go look over there entire history. They are villains I’ve been saying this as long as I’ve read comics
She is the furthest thing from a child. She just looks like one. At this point she has had more life experiences than anyone else on earth.

I think all the signs have been leading in this direction for some time which makes the writing at least pretty consistent 🤷🏾♂️.
